Always get a cut from Sherry, she’s amazing and one of the nicest people you could ever know. Nice old school style vibe barber shop, scissor cuts no clippers(except for around the ears).

Great fade but took two hours. I don’t remember the last time I spent that much time in a barber chair.

First time I’ve had a straight razor shave, and I didn’t know what I was missing. Tyi gave me the best fade I’ve ever had! I’ll be back for sure!

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI started with Cecli when I got back from Vietnam. My father introduced me to him. He cut my hear from the 1970’s until the around 2008 when my wife’s daughter needed someone to practice on. Cecil is also a veteran and we would have good times talking about Vietnam and those that served. He was a friend and a Brother from another mother. I hope to catch up to him and talk with him. Sure do miss him.Services: Beard trim, Hair shape upI started with Cecli when I got back from Vietnam. My father introduced me to him. In 1976 (45 years ago), Cecil got out of barber school and started practicing at about the same time I got out of law school and started practicing … about a block away. Cecil and I were both “new kids on the block”.

When I moved to Charlotte I searched for the right barbershop and was thrilled to find the Arcade Men’s Room. I love the location; the cleanliness of uptown is mixed with a rare historic location (rare in Charlotte). I love that I can walk in wearing a t-shirt and jeans or wearing a suit on lunch break and feel equally comfortable. Best of all.. I’ve never had a better haircut!

Went in for a haircut with Demichael and was thoroughly impressed. Hands down one of the best barbers in the city. He was incredibly thorough and meticulous when it came to the details, I left with one of the best haircuts I’ve had. Really nice group of people as well, had great conversation and even as someone new to the shop felt immediately welcomed. i’ll certainly be returning!

This place is absolutely dynamite. I don’t have the right kind of hair for a barbershop, as I keep it long and thick… Tyi still kills it. I stopped by one day after work and have been back once a month ever since.

Wish I could review. Men’s Room staff seemed friendly and the shop looked nice. I walked in and took a seat in the waiting area, as all the barbers were busy. After waiting a few minutes, a barber asked if I had an appointment. Unfortunately I didn’t know appointments were needed, as they was no signs saying “appointments only”. I was told they were completely booked up, were short handed, and didn’t do “walk-ins”. I was even willing to wait, but that wasn’t an option. I’ve never been to a barber shop where “walk-ins” weren’t welcome. In fairness, the barber was very friendly and offered to book me for the next day, but that wasn’t an option. I know it’s my fault for not making an appointment, but I’ve never been to a barber shop where they turn you away.
