Critical: QualityProbably one of the worst nail experiences of my life. To start my appointment they had booked me incorrectly. I was booked for a gel fill in despite me telling the woman on the phone that I had not had anything on my nails in months. They made it a point to tell me that I booked the wrong service even though I was very clear on the phone. The woman who did my nails was very nice and they were able to make sure I still got a full set which I appreciated but the quality of the work was far off from the price point. Almost all of my nails were different shapes, the thickness of the gel was varied on each nail, my nails were not cleaned or prepped underneath and since part of the gel was transparent, there was a line where you could tell wasn’t cleaned. There were also bubbles within the gel so it ended up cracking and peeling off in certain places. Most of the polish on my nails was also incredibly patchy because only one coat was put on. My pedicure was great, it was relaxing and my feet looked perfect afterwards. The real issue I have is that not even 24 hours after leaving the salon my middle nail broke. They were able to get me in to have it repaired at no charge, which I appreciated. I had my nails done for an anniversary vacation and one day into my trip, 2 days after my initial appointment ANOTHER nail broke. I paid $170 + tip for a gel set (with design) and a pedicure.
