This was literally the worst nail experience I’ve ever had and the very reason to start having anxiety. I felt like I was on a prank show with everything that could go wrong did while the smug owners standing by observing. I wanted to keep it short, but this absurd and awful experience deserves the details.I went in with long strong natural dipped nails, asked for oval-shaped gel french manicure with black tips instead of white and regular pedi. But instead came out with cuticle cuts, my right hand nails are shorter, misaligned French tips and both hands covered in acetone/dip powder.The only way to capture is the list below:1. My pedicure was decent. The water was lukewarm and she did rub my ankle bones raw with the pumice stone, but the leg massage was great.2. The manicure was hideous from start to finish. The first attendant, I believe was Jolee or Joyee, started on my right hand, taking three unsuccessful acetone soaked tries to remove and dremel the existing color and damaging my cuticles (1.5 hrs).3. The acetone and nail filings were in my hair, my clothes and caked onto the skin on both hands. She attempted to use the dremel on my fingers and palm skin to remove instead of washing it.4. She nicked my skin and cuticles on my right hand with the dremel causing me to bleed.5. Despite showing the photo repeatedly to clarify what “oval” meant, the attendant chopped my long nails down into short uneven jagged peaks and filed them into uneven stubby squares.6. I was transferred to Paulina, another attendant who tried to fix it, complimenting my left hand telling me my nails were perfect. My response was “those are my long natural nails that have not been butchered yet.”7. She shook her head and tried to fix them by reshaping with dip powder, telling me “don’t worry they’ll grow back”.8. Then she discovered the color she was given wasn’t the correct color I chose.9. My hands looked like they were covered in dry glue and she was rubbing with cuticle oil peeling them. And no lotion or hand massage applied.10. She tried her best with the gels. There are bubbles under the two nails and jagged edges on the sides. My right hand’s nails are misshapen and drastically shorter with all misaligned French tips.11. The owners observed the entire 2.5 hr excruciating process — too busy to address a paying customer.12. When I retold the issues as I was paying, I said to him “if she didn’t know how to do nails and an oval shape, she should have told me”, he responded, “she knows, she should have known better” and scoffed it off giving me $12 off. Mind you, I still paid $71 and tipped the first two for their rnediocre work.Be forewarned. Not only are they unskilled, dismissive, and not-detail oriented…I noticed them use the same emery boards and files on multiple people without washing their hands in between clients.This whole operation was amateur hour and subpar customer service.
