Absolutely thrilled to find this talented, independent hair stylist! Maureen gave me a first class cut on my short, fine hair at my first visit. We had a lovely, humorous conversation and I felt right at home. The prices are more than fair and there are some lovely ornaments and hand made jewelry to browse. I decided on a whim to change my hair to a shorter style. I walked in to Aqua Maureen’s and she was able to take me an hour later! I LOVE my hair! It turned out exactly like I wanted it. She washed, cut and blew dry for a really reasonable price and I walked out loving my hair! When you haven’t had your hair done and you don’t know anybody it’s so hard to know where to go, try Maureen she’s great!!

Asked for bangs and she washed, blow dried and “curled” my hair and slight trim. Didn’t really do much, bangs came out okay, went home and touched them up a bit. Was quoted 40$ over the phone but because my hair was thicker than what she expected I ended up paying 60. She said she would add layers and she didn’t. She curled my hair and severely rushed through it because she had another client waiting and my hair wasn’t even curled decently left feeling choppy and rushed. I was so disappointed with the results. She talked more than she did my hair which wasn’t what I was paying for.
