On 11/23 I really wanted to get out of the house and get my nails done. I realized quickly a lot of places weren’t accepting walk ins. So I made an appointment online with AQ Nails for 11am. When I got there I told them yes I had an appointment at 11 and the gentleman said their online wasn’t working. He said to give him a min an he’d make sure I got in. I waited patiently and he sat me with a lady to do my nails. She started on them after I explained what I’d like then I was asked to get up and I’d have to wait because someone came in for her. I was pretty upset over this. I had just had a baby a little less than two weeks prior and just wanted to pamper myself. Why sit me with someone that has an appointment coming in or who doesn’t want to do my nails? I would have patiently waited for someone who actually wanted to do my nails. I understand it was the day before a holiday and it was busy but I didn’t mind waiting it was the simple fact I was seated to be taken care of to be told sorry I have to stop and help someone else. It made me feel like my business wasn’t wanted at the facility.

They were suppose to open at 930 am but did not show up until 945am. When they finally opened the doors we all came in. Myself and another black woman were the first two people in to enter. The nail tech immediately greeted the white customers and asked them what they were having done. A woman who was white spoke up and said I believe they were here first, pointing to the two of us. She asked us to sign the clipboard and then asked what we were having done. I told her I wanted a pedicure and to have a polish change. I showed her a picture of what I wanted done and asked if someone was able to do my design. She agreed and firmly said yes it’s no problem. I sat down and my pedicure was started. The woman doing my pedicure was very sweet but burned me when she was using a power tool to remove my dip nail polish. After that I was taken to get my nails done. The guy looked at the picture and told me he could not do the design. He then asked someone else and a woman said she could do it and started filing my nails. She came back and later said she would try to do it. I told her nevermind paid $60 and got the hell up out of there. This place is not customer friendly. I noticed that a select few were offered bottled water. This place is overpriced and customer service is poor
