Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueWent in for a cut, highlights and lowlights. Hair looks terrible. I strongly advise against Victoria. Gave no remorse for doing my hair completely opposite of what I asked for and actually tried to argue me into saying it is what I asked for. Drove 90 minutes each way for this hair appointment as I have been going to the salon for years. Terrible service for a long-time customer. Victoria also tried to argue that the reason my hair looks so bad is because it hadn’t been highlighted in so long. So upset and frustrated please save yourself the hassle, time and money and see someone else. It’s terrible to me to think that I waited months to see a certain person only for the TERRIBLE quality of service I received. Also saw a cockroach while waiting because Victoria was running over 30 mins late. PLEASE SEE THE PICTURES FOR VICTORIAS VERSION OF NATURAL BLONDE HIGHLIGHTS. Two of us went in today (12/28/2021) and she destroyed our hair. FYI the owners response of “I heard the consultation and felt there was not a good understanding of what was wanted before the service was started” should be an issue that you take up with Victoria, ensuring that she understands what the customer wants before completing their hair. Went in for a cut, highlights and lowlights. Hair looks terrible. I strongly advise against Victoria. Gave no remorse for doing my hair completely opposite of what I asked for and actually tried to argue me into saying it is what I asked for. I have been going to April to get my haircut for years. I go from long to very short with very drastic cuts/styles each time. Every time she listens to what I want and executes amazingly! Best is that she knows hair types and what will and won’t work and will share the knowledge. Saved me from more than one bad haircut I’m sure. I always color as well and the prices are far more reasonable than most salons. Would highly recommend!

They owners didn’t hesitate to reschedule me to adjust the cut. I was rescheduled with Carrie Buss who did a fantastic job at adding more layers and evening out my cut. I would recommends both stylists, but if you have short hair or are thinking of going short, I would recommend Carrie. She has short hair herself and knows how to work those layers really well. Both were very professional, the salon is neat, clean and well spaced. I got my hair cut initially by Victoria and while I think it was a good haircut, it was a bit too blunt and I wanted more layers. They owners didn’t hesitate to reschedule me to adjust the cut. I was rescheduled with Carrie Buss who did a fantastic job at adding more layers and evening out my cut. I would recommends both stylists, but if you have short hair or are thinking of going short, I would recommend Carrie. She has short hair herself and knows how to work those layers really well. Both were very professional, the salon is neat, clean and well spaced. I will be going to this salon again in the future.

First of all, April’s is an adorable salon situated in a sweet old house in Golden. I just wanted a little more fringe and layers around my face and Victoria did an amazing job! The best part of all is the amazing prices! After years of overpaying for cuts and highlights, it is so wonderful to find a salon that offers outstanding service at reasonable rates. I found my new stylist and salon! Highly recommend!

Critical: QualityI actually had my haircut done 3 times (as well as my husband). The last time, my husband had to trim up a few uneven spots. I then went in for a body perm prior to a trip. I waited the 3 days to wash/wet down my hair. I have chunks of hair with absolutely no curl, where I’m guessing no chemical got into that area. I wore a hat through most of my trip. I waited the 3 days to wash/wet down my hair. I have chunks of hair with absolutely no curl, where I’m guessing no chemical got into that area. I wore a hat through most of my trip.
