April is simply the best at blondes! have tried for years to find someone closer to me once I moved to Boulder, but have failed. April does an amazing job with creating natural looking blondes that grow out well! I do highlights and am impressed at how well my hair grows out, especially now since I push appointments with the pandemic. Although, she has her own studio space and I feel incredibly safe going to see her. I happily make the drive to see her in Denver!

I’ve had my hair colored by other professionals in Denver, who all came highly recommended and very pricey, but I still felt like no one really got the natural color I was going for. One of my friends had recently gotten her hair colored and it was the perfect golden/blonde color I have always wanted. So she gave me April’s number and I immediately set up an appointment.

She brought my hair from damaged, dull and brassy to healthy, full and ashy! I can’t live without her. This was my first time seeing April for color and not only did she nail the color, but I’m super impressed with her balayage technique. It’s so natural and dimensional no matter how I style my hair. Left stripes of blonde in the front of my part and neglected the rest of my part after paying for a partial highlight and low lights. She focused on the low lights only. No heater in her space so she asked me to stand outside in full foils on the curb to allow heat to get to my hair. I still left a generous tip, upon asking to return for more even highlights around my face and part she quoted more payment and never responded when I accepted the appointment she offered.
