I was super excited to get my nails done here. The salon was really clean, and they offered me a drink right away. My biggest issue is that my cuticles were completely destroyed during the acrylic process. The woman doing my nails kept taking the grinder to my cuticles over and over again. Almost all of my cuticles were bleeding, and after she noticed, she dipped her brush in acetone and ran it over my bloody cuticles. This is probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a nail salon. Almost all of my cuticles looked like the one in the picture, but this one was for sure the most painful.

My last two experiences here have been bad. Both times I made an appointment for both a pedicure and dip at the *same* time, and both times I had to do them separately—spending almost THREE hours at the salon. This most recent time the gal doing my nails burned me three different times with the rolling buffer and then cut me so badly with the nail file there was blood all over the side of it. She laughed as she apologized. They move way too fast here for quality service, and the lack of respect for time and skin is extremely upsetting.

I typically go to a different spa but wanted to give Apple Nails a try after recommendations and seeing their prices. I made an appointment the evening prior for a morning slot. They were ready for my appointment right away but they seemed to accommodate walk ins well. Prices are very fair, for the same set I would have paid almost double elsewhere because of the art. Mimi took her time to make sure the nail art was perfect! Already have ideas for my next 3 fills so I will definitely be back to see Mimi!

This was my first time going to a nail salon in san Diego and I just randomly picked one and when I booked my appointment and arrived they was ready. I recommend Danny, he is very nice and professional. I was comfortable and I felt welcomed. 10/10 and I forgot to mention I am a boy and it was also my first time getting gel.

!ALRET! NO TO VERY LITTLE OF PRACTICE OF COVID-19! NO SOCIAL DISTANCING, NO CLEANING EFFECTIVELY, AND GLASS DIRTY! I am pregnant and had a customer sat next to me, felt very uncomfortable. Other salons have managed to separate customers to be distant and always clean throughly after finishing service with customers.
