Apol Beauty Salon & Dominican Hair

Critical: ProfessionalismI went to this salon for about 3 years. Both stylists did a great job; however, they are not very diverse: wash, blow dry, straighten. Nothing else really. Overall, they have great quality but my complaint is about professionalism. Around a year and a half after going to this salon, my hair begin to fall out- not because of the business whatsoever- but because I was going through a stressful time period and also was using a product that was bad for my hair. One day I went to her salon to get my hair styled for my birthday. She looked at my hair and picked at it like it was roadkill. Afterward I was done and paid, she told another client in creole (I assume she thought I wouldn’t understand), “I charged her more” and both her and the client laughed. I was a loyal customer. I never badmouthed these people. But this place is not professional nor loyal at all! I never returned to this salon again. That was in 2019. Overall, they have great quality but my complaint is about professionalism.
