I am convinced that there is not a better hairstylist out there than Colleen from Aphrodite Salon. I’ve been lucky enough to work with Colleen for both my regular cut and color treatments, as well as for my wedding hair services, and she has absolutely blown me away with every service she has provided. I have never felt better about my hair since starting my appointments with Colleen two years ago, and didn’t even know it was possible for my hair to look as good as it does now. In fact, she is so amazing at what she does that I traveled across states to have my hair done by her before moving back to Maine – she is absolutely worth it! As far as wedding hair services go, both Colleen and Nicole knocked it out of the park on my wedding day! My entire bridal party looked incredible and I could not imagine a better bridal look for me. The talent at Aphrodite Salon is simply unmatched!

Colleen seriously is a hair goddess!! I am so lucky to have worked with her for my wedding day and I cannot say enough positive things about her and her team. Colleen was professional, timely, and always easy to communicate with. She made me feel like we had been friends for years when we first met! Her style is whimsical and romantic and just so beautiful!! Colleen listened to exactly what I wanted (even when I switched it up on her the day of the wedding!) and offered thoughtful ideas/suggestions on how best to achieve the look I was going for. Her experience and knowledge is evident and she knew how to work with all varieties of hair types and personalities! She truly made me and all my bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law feel our most beautiful on the day of my wedding. I still get compliments to this day on how stunning each of our hair styles was. Colleen has been cutting and coloring my hair ever since I hired her for my wedding seven years ago, and I stay with her because she is both an artist and a delight to visit! She has taken me from blonde to brunette and back, and she once gave me lavender highlights that made me feel like a superhero…but like, a classy superhero! Everything she does is with the utmost care and with an eye both towards trends and what will work for me. I know that I will leave her salon looking gorgeous every time! There is no one else I would trust my hair to…ever! I am very particular when it comes to who styles my hair. Colleen earned my trust and my business from day one. She is amazing.
