Positive: Cleanliness, ProfessionalismI was left feeling let down and dejected by my experiences searching for a new barber, having moved to Westchester at the end of 2021. Some flat out just didn’t listen to the service I was asking for, others performed a very subpar job. Through trial and error, I finally found the spot that I will be a consistent patron of for as long as I’m in Westchester! From the minute I stepped into A&O, the vibe was different, it was customer-centric. They were seeing an elderly gentleman out the door, with time and patience, the kind that you get from dedicated professionals who care for their customers. I was instructed to take a seat, and from that moment onwards, I was taken care of and looked after in a way that I’ve not previously experienced in a barbershop. Amelie attentively paid attention to what I was asking for, offered her professional opinion, and then gave me a stellar haircut. Throughout the process, she informed me about the products she was using, how they could benefit my particular hair type, and the conversation flowed very naturally. A gentleman to my left was also getting his haircut by Omar, and he audibly exclaimed “I don’t know how you do it, but when you cut my hair, it feels like there’s more there than there was to begin with”. A sentiment I shared, as my hairline isn’t what it used to be. As it was my first trip, there was a generous discount at the end, which was the icing on the cake! I’m looking forward to my next visit, knowing what lies ahead, and I would highly recommend anyone in a commutable distance to give A&O a try. I fail to see how you would be disappointed.Service: HaircutI was left feeling let down and dejected by my experiences searching for a new barber, having moved to Westchester at the end of 2021.
