Overall, this place is outstanding. The atmosphere is relaxing and warm, the technicians and receptionists are all very friendly and accommodating. The sugar scrub they use on their pedicures is outstanding. Most of the nail techs that I’ve worked with here have been astounding: Cindy, Mercedes, and Will.

I received a manicure on 5/30/2022 from Tracey N. I arrived on time for my appointment and picked out my dip powder selections prior to be seated. 10 minutes past my appointment start time I was seated at manicure station by the receptionist who gave me a bowl to begin soaking off my precious dip powder and a towel to go over my hands and the bowl. I soaked for over 35 minutes… by the time Tracey finally arrived to my station, my fingers had soaked so long all of the dip was soaked off of my nails. – she asked my color selection… she arrived back with 4 incorrect colors. Instead of making it right, she yelled at me about not being able to bring any more powders to the table and that I would I need to go pick a new color. I walked over to the front of the salon to find a different color from the swatches and she hovered over me. I eventually chose a dark purple (my original color was a dark navy blue). – Tracey then rushed through my manicure. By the time she began my manicure, her next client was already waiting in the waiting room. She rudely cut my nails, filed them roughly and the. Began to use the dip. After she painted them and completed the top coat, she decided it would then be a good time to cut my cuticles. I had a bad feeling about it right away and by the time she got to my second finger (ring finger on my right hand) she severely nipped the side of nail bed which then profusely bled for several minutes. She attempted several times to get it to stop. I kept telling her to leave it he she continued to poke at it. Today is now 6/9/2022 one week later and my finger is infected and I have been put on both oral and topical antibiotics from my Physician. I work for physicians and my finger was monitored closed over the last week, I covered it, aired it, soaked it, used topical Neosporin and it still infected. If you do not have the time to properly completely a manicure then have the patron rescheduled with another manicurist. I am 38 years old and I’ve had manicures weekly since the age of 19. Never. EVER. Have I had my cuticle/nail bed clipped. On top of all of this, my manicure is terrible. I’ve attached pictures. This was the second time I’ve been in the salon. The first time was with Hannah who was amazing. – Tracey N. Should not be allowed to do manicures at this establishment. I will never ever return to this place and I will tell as many people as possible about my experience. Who will pay my physicians bill?

I was suspicious that my boyfriend was going to propose this weekend, so my sister suggested I make the drive up from Chicago to get my nails done here. By far the best manicure I’ve ever gotten! I got tips w/ the dip powder. Hannah was so meticulous and gentle and made sure I was satisfied with the look throughout the entire session. My nails feel so light and natural and I’m absolutely obsessed with them, and good thing I got them done when I did because the next day I confirmed my suspicions and am now happily engaged!!! This place is worth every penny and I will be making the drive back up for future manicures.

Unfortunately this is the second time I came to this salon. The first time I got a pedicure and was not happy and today I came in for a manicure. I chose a color that was navy blue, the guy kept bringing in colors far from what I wanted and eventually got frustrated that I kept telling him I didn’t like it. The ladies there were great, I think they knew I wasn’t satisfied with the color he found and they found the exact one I wanted! Anyways despite the color issue, he kept burning me when he was filing down my old gel color and would make a face at me when I said something about it. He burned me multiple times! I also wanted a French tip and he made mine tip so thick. EVERYTIME I told him I wanted it thinner he said he couldn’t do it. Now that I’m home I noticed my gel nails are chipped, the lines are uneven, and the color of the tip looks like it bled through. I tried to love this place but it just hasn’t worked out.

I decided to book with Leo after seeing good reviews about him. He was almost 30 min late due to being tied up with another client, but he was very kind and apologetic about it. Overall, Leo was very professional, made sure to ask several times if I liked the color/shape/length/etc of my nails, and did beautiful work while still finishing my appointment right on time. He also comped my glass of wine for making me wait, which I really appreciated. I have no complaints about Leo, but for $130 I had to take off a few stars for other reasons:

I had Leo for the first time and he did ombre nails on me using the dip. They lasted up until my next appointment which was two months later without chipping! He did a great job was super kind and very talented. I will definitely be going back to him every time. Dip powder, Gel manicures, Pedicure

Getting my nails done every two weeks was something I did for YEARSSS. Then I had kids and move often for my husbands job so I have to try out a lot of salons and that’s a lot of work. Last Saturday I decided to get them done at Anthony Vince with Leo per a neighbors recommendation for an upcoming wedding. Holy cow was going there a mistake. Not only did my gel nail manicure take 20 minutes max (I had to wait in him for 15 minutes and then drive the back 25 minutes to my house and I was still home in one hour) But he was correcting me on the color he brought out which was not the color I asked for. He didn’t want to get up to go get the correct color at first either. Then he was so rough with my cuticles, this happened the next day. He also tipped himself for me after the experience. Never again because my nails might look rough with no polish at times, but my hands NEVER look like this. AWFUL. (Ps I even had to cut the skin down because it was so bad)

Great selection of colors but I drove 40 minutes for a gel manicure just to get home and the lady rushed me under the UV light and the gel wasn’t cured all of the way. I got home and the color cracked off and started peeling. Will have to drive another 40 mins to get it fixed. Gel manicures

Your place came highly recommended so I decided to try it instead of my regular place. The lady that did my pedicure, (And I use the term loosely), didn’t know how to work the massage chair started by filing and buffing my nails. I told her I didn’t want the cheese grater but she did it anyways, and told me everything would be okay. The point is I didn’t want it. And she did the orange scrub loosely rubbing it into my legs washed that off brushed my toes off with soap. I asked her about nipping my cuticles and she said that she did that at the end. Then she put some lotion on my legs and then washed it off right away then she got her nippers out but didn’t do much, and my last pedicure was 4 weeks ago. After that oil on my legs and hot towels. I asked her if she did the “hydrating leg and foot massage” after the towels and she said no she put oil on my legs and quickly stated that her 40 minutes would be up as soon as she put my polish on. Thank you but no thank you. No massage whatsoever I actually told the lady next to me that I was going to enjoy her massage vicariously because I wasn’t getting one and she was getting what looked like an amazing hydrating lower leg and foot massage lower leg and foot massage. Waste of $45, Disappointing 🙁

Mercedes is the BEST!!! She always does a great job on my nails and she is very talented on the design details. Especially on my super short nails, and I get a lot of compliments. I’m always happy with her service and will continue to keep going to her. Nail designs, Gel manicures
