Critical: Quality, ValueWhen I had got my nails done the man who had done my nails was in a rush, he didn’t let the polish dry in between coats so it wasn’t able to properly dry. The polish was wet and goopy 4 hours after my service and would not dry. I would not recommend coming here. The polish didn’t even last past one day. I had tried to bring it up to the man and he was extremely rude and waved me off. He minimized my concerns and made me not want to ever come again. I went for the first time today and I had to post a review ASAP. The salon is beautiful and very clean, it’s a shame it’s in such a tight spot on portage crossing, I had no idea it was there until I got a gift card from someone. I believe her name is Leah, sweet young woman with short black hair and a strip or two of purple, I’m describing her appearance in case I have her name wrong because she is the one to go to for acrylics and design. I got a full set, coffin shaped, gel polish with a designed French tip AND a massage added from a different manicure service in 45mins!!! That’s the fastest I’ve ever had a full set done, I’m usually sitting for at least an hour and a half so that blew me away. She didn’t rush at all, she’s just THAT GOOD. She even free handed my design?! She was very delicate, a perfectionist and clearly showed a lot of experience. I usually have a bit of discomfort in my nails from new acrylics and get a fuss from whoever I asked for a design before, but not with Leah.

I should have trusted the negative reviews. This was the first time in my entire life that someone cut my finger while getting my nails done. The nail tech was so rude and was rushing. I call this place of business at 3:45 to see if I could come in after I got off work to get my eyebrows waxed when I got off work saying i’d be there at 5:30. the lady on the phone was super sweet and said “of course that’s perfect” and asked for my name so she could let the eyebrow tech know. perfect. 5pm rolls around and I get off work and head straight there. mind you, their hours online and on the door say 6pm is when they close. I arrive (a 15-20 min drive out of the way btw) and the door is locked. I call and a different lady answers asking if she could help me and when I told her I was there for my eyebrows (5:31pm) she says “oh sorry we’re closed. the brow tech left” I explained how I had talked to someone else and they should have put my name down somewhere and she immediately says “sorry I can’t find your name” when she didn’t even ask for my name, so how could she find it? I go back and forth with her on the phone as i’m standing outside the door, very frustrated at this point. if they’re going to close 30 mins early then they should’ve told me on the phone that they couldn’t take me before I drove out of my way to come here. im not the type to be a “karen” so to speak about customer service as I work in the industry as well, but the lack of effort from this place is just crazy. 0 stars

Anthony Vince Nail Spa is amazing! Angel did a fantastic job of my nails and was wonderful to chat with as well. I have gotten so many compliments on my nails since having them done. Below is a picture of them at the salon the day of, and another picture of them with almost 3 weeks growth (no damage)! I recommend getting dip polish and making an appointment with Angel.

My tech rushed through the entire appointment and did not even let me look at the shape or asked me if I liked what was being done, which is pretty traditional. My nails are uneven, bubbly, and the design is nothing like what I asked for. She put zero effort into actually making the design look decent and it shows – these nails are not worth the $64 I paid. My tech rushed through the entire appointment and did not even let me look at the shape or asked me if I liked what was being done, which is pretty traditional. I got an infection from the pedicure I had here on Saturday, 5/30/2020. Went in for a pedicure around 11:30/12 and by that evening my toe was swollen, red and it hurt to bend. I called the salon to let them know and they could only say “I’m sorry”.
