Critical: Professionalism, QualityToday, I went into get my hair cut after looking up their prices. Said $25 bucks for women’s hair cut, shampoo, & blow dry on website & plus posted price sign when you walk in. I arrived at 4:30 pm sat down in chair to get cut around 5:00. At 6:09, I am done (extremely choppy, uneven cut) and I go to pay for my $25 hair cut, when I get to the register the lady said that will be $75.00, I said wait what? It says $25, she said I’m sorry but it’s $50.00. I said the price changed again? She said I don’t know, let me get my manager. Manager comes over says it’s $50.00.. I pointed to the sign & pulled up their website both say $25.. Keep in mind I only got a trim!!! (Not even 4 inches taken off)…The manager responded with it was because the length of your hair. I responded with that doesn’t make any sense for a hair cut, (I understand for highlights or dye because the more hair you have the more product you have to use) but for a hair cut? I told her I’m not paying $50.00 when the prices are clearly listed and it says $25.00, I will pay $25.00. She refused to take my money at this point and told me if I didn’t pay the full $50.00 she would call Security and the Cops. I said CALL THEM!! She calls them and tells them I’m refusing to pay for my services (lie).Well.. 2 hours later cop shows up, agrees the price listed for a cut is $25, makes me pay $25.00, and bans me from the Salon property & sends me on my way. .. After all this I decided, to read the reviews for this place and found out this is a common occurrence!!! DO NOT LET THEM STEAL FROM YOU LIKE THEY HAVE SUCCEEDED WITH OTHERS & TRIED TO WITH ME. Critical: Professionalism, ValueMy daughter went in for a highlight and a trim. She specifically told the person doing the job what she wanted. The lady quoted a price of $100 to do the color and cut she wanted. After the job was finished, my daughter went to pay the bill and was charged $212 for the service. When asked why the price was doubled from the quote, she was told that other products were needed and conditioners were used. My daughter was not asked if she wanted any of these extra additions to the service.This was a totally unprofessional thing to do to a young person or anyone for that matter. If you quote a price for a service and then need to use additional products, the customer should have the right to decline the extra that was not quoted for. My daughter is not from that area and was looking for a place she could go when she needed her hair done, and I can promise she will never recommend or set foot in this salon again.
