Valentina was amazing! First time at the salon and everyone was super welcoming. Valentina listened to what I wanted and gave her professional input on what would/wouldn’t work with my hair. Not gonna lie, I was a little skeptical about how I would like my cut in the end but you just gotta trust the process as they say. I usually NEVER get my hair cut short (and by short I mean anything shorter than mid-back length) but Valentina made me fall in love with my shoulder length hairstyle.

I bought a house in the area about 2 years ago, my typical salon is in the city. Although I love my girl in the city, I was looking for something closer to home since I just had a baby. I really wanted to love this salon. I drive by it daily, perfect location, has parking, the salon itself is beautiful. I called the salon to make an appointment I told the woman on the line what I was hoping to have done and asked her who she recommended. She set up an appointment with one of the girls and everything was great, although I was a little skeptical that I wasn’t asked to come in for a consultation but I ignored that and thought maybe they just do things differently. A week before my appointment I get a call that I have to come in for a consultation. Ok, no problem, I expected that. The second I sat down in the chair, the woman asked to see pictures of what I wanted. My girl in the city has never asked to see pictures because we both understand pictures are deceiving when it comes to coloring. People use filters, people’s hair lift different. Hair coloring is a science so instead of pictures I prefer to talk through what I want but that’s not what happened here. Instead, as soon as I showed an example I was told “I don’t do that” I don’t necessarily care about the method but if you could get me to that color using whatever method you do, great. And she mentioned she could do what she knows how but it would be more of an upkeep and more expensive. Um, what? I started the conversation saying I understand it’s going to take multiple visits but to say it’s going to cost more money, as if I can’t afford $200 every 6 weeks. Maybe I should’ve started our conversation with what I do for work and it probably would’ve gone a completely different way. Was I dressed to the 9’s? No. Is my hair not at it’s best right now? Yes. I just had a baby, everything including your hair changes. I guess she would’ve known that if she took the time to ask questions about me/my hair. She kept saying “box color” I have never once in my life used box color, I even said that and she still said it several times. I have had this done in the past, I know it’s possible with my hair but was told no.

Positive: Quality, ValueIf you want to get your brows done- this is the place, especially if you have Amelia as your stylist! Been getting my brows shaped/waxed at various different salons for the past 13 years and it’s always alright but Amelia left me with a look that is natural and enhanced my entire face for the better. Never had a better wax done, this is Hollywood level work and she deserves to be recognized for this talent! Such a kind person and totally lifted my spirits, you could spend double the money at other places in the area, some who claim to be professionals, but for the price and quality received at AD, you will win every time. Been getting my brows shaped/waxed at various different salons for the past 13 years and it’s always alright but Amelia left me with a look that is natural and enhanced my entire face for the better. This was great! I got the groupon for highlights and a cut, and it came out exactly how I wanted it. I was a little late to my appointment and Chanel was able to accommodate without skipping a beat. Definitely recommend!

The place was nice and clean. I got a haircut from Chanel. She was friendly and professional. The reason I gave it a four star is because no one seemed to wear mask in the store, which was surprising to me considering the COVID situation.

My first time there and I love it. I never write reviews, but this place is amazing. The atmosphere is excellent and the lighting perfect. Great customer service. The workers seemed to be happy to be there even in the middle of a pandemic. Sarah did my hair, she is excellent and for sure I am coming back. The owner is really nice too, he even came to introduce himself. Oh! And the color they use is yogurt base and it is from Italy. Love it.

Great service and friendly stylist. Jackie helped me in this visit and I couldn’t be more happy with the service. She was sweet and listened to all my concerns. She kindly listened to me and spend so much time on my hair to make it what I want. When I felt like I’m asking for too much, she was so kind and told me not to worry as she thinks I shall share all my concerns. I booked my next appointment before I leave.
