I’m used to having wild colors and hair freedom. But my job as a fed doesn’t allow any unnatural colors. I’ve been wanting to do something new lately and have my hair be exciting to me and get to do new things all the time! I booked an appointment with Krist on the website after sending a message on Facebook and I definitely was not disappointed. Upon arrival I almost turned around to leave before actually walking in the doors, new places and people give me loads of anxiety, I was nervous, less for the cut, and more because people and places I’m unfamiliar with make me feel on edge! Krist made me feel welcomed, and so did the environment. I showed her an idea of what I was thinking and we discussed how it would be different for me because of my head shape. As a former beauty professional, I know that when an image is pulled off the internet, that doesn’t necessarily mean it can be duplicated. And she made sure I knew that. I told her that I don’t do this for a living, she does and that I trust her judgment, and has creative freedom.
