Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI went in to get a hair trim and blow dry shampoo. The hair stylist used Sauve shampoo and conditioner on me. There were no professional hair products, all products from cheap retail stores. I stayed quiet hoping she’ll apply some real products eventually but nothing. She proceeded to trim my hair without even properly combing it. During that process, I explained to her that I was not trying to be mean but that I’m disappointed that a hair salon would use drug store products on a customers hair. She responded that that brand is actually good for oil removal and good to use before a blow dry. I’ve never heard of a hair salon justifying drug store, one dollar products. I was paying $35 to get my hair washed with dollar products. She reduced the price to $25 for just the trim. After the trim, she attempted to use the hair dry on me for 5 seconds and called it a day.
