Critical: ProfessionalismI come to this nail salon often but this particular day I brought a friend with me. June 11, 2021 I walked into this establishment and stated what my friend & I wanted done to our nails, after waiting a while someone else walked in & they immediately took the person and serviced them first. ( we were there first and have been waiting a while). When they finally got to my friend the owner of the establishment and his wife refused to do her nails because she was disabled and stated that doing her nails would be ‘too difficult’ for them & also stated that they did not have time to do my nails. I have never in my life witnessed this type of discrimination against an individual with a disability, they stated they could do one hand, this situation made my friend feel like she was not human because of her disability. They where rude when I addressed them about the situation explaining to them “How do you all think that made her feel?” They painted one hand & charged her $25 and after this situation my friend still wanted to tip them for their services after they made her feel low and ashamed of her condition. I come to this nail salon often but this particular day I brought a friend with me. June 11, 2021 I walked into this establishment and stated what my friend & I wanted done to our nails, after waiting a while someone else walked in & they immediately took the person and serviced them first. Three key words, “Support Black Owned”! These people were very rude to my friend and I, rushed our nails and overcharged us. The salon was empty, so there was no need to rush. The male owner was the most rude. If you’re Black, save your hard earned money and take your business where it will be appreciated especially during a pandemic where every business should be grateful for each customer who walks in that door.
