Critical: ProfessionalismI went to get my nails done today. A nail technician named Vicky filed my squared shaped nails into circle without asking me but of course I did not make a big deal and politely told her I wanted them square as before but since it was already too late it’s ok. Her demeanor changed towards me after that maybe because she assumed I wouldn’t tip her well (which I never do even when service is terrible but I think I’ll start implementing that from now on). She began acting rough when handling my nails, when she would finish painting some of my nails and it was time to dry them in gel machine, she would rudely push my hands away. At first I thought maybe it was a mistake but as she continued doing this I asked her if she was ok and to be more gentle. After which she said something in her language to the other nail technician, they laughed and then she apologized to me. The worst part was when she massaged my hands with lotion instead of using hot towel she used a paper towel to dry them. Needless to say, she was the pettiest, nastiest technician I ever met. At the end I still tipped her as I would tip any other technician and wished her a great day because I felt like she needed that. However, I’m leaving this comment because it is not ok for a high end business that charges more than other salons to have such a rude and unprofessional employee. This is not kindergarten! She made me never want to go back there again! On a positive note, the environment is beautiful and it’s very quiet and peaceful, my nails look ok, I don’t think she put much effort into it but it will do for now.Service: ManicureI went to get my nails done today. Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI went for a pedicure today for the first time in years to this place and I understand why I rather spend my $45 on a Russian pedicure.I asked her to cut my corners and she created a problem by now cutting the entire side of my big toes when I only asked for the front corners and she was cutting them with oil on her hands, so she was sliding around not cutting straight.I told her and she kept going.I just told her to stop and she insisted to pint them and fix them but then she missed an entire coat of polish on my right foot and she insisted that she did it.I don’t recommend going here, the quality of work has gone down the drain and they just don’t care anymore and it’s such a shame.
