Ankerman Artistry is simply the best. I was so fortunate to stumble across this company, and decided last minute to book a hair and makeup trial for my engagement shoot. Sarah was an absolute JOY to be around, and beyond talented. I immediately booked her for my wedding, and it was the best decision. She made getting ready with my gals relaxing, fun, and exciting. The perfect energy for your wedding day, or any other day! Everything lasted throughout the entire event! Aside from her professionalism and phenomenal ability to do hair and makeup, Sarah is just wonderful to be around. Cannot recommend this company enough!

I had Sarah do my hair and makeup for my wedding a couple weeks ago and I can’t say enough good things! I was filled with anxiety during the whole getting ready process, but Sarah filled the room with music, was calm and focused the entire time and always so friendly and easy to talk to. The make up for my bridal party was flawless, they all looked amazing. Britt handled their hair and it was exactly what they asked for. Sarah did my hair and make up and it was perfect!! The makeup lasted through the entire night and I didn’t have to touch up anything. My hair stayed in place even though I was jumping and dancing around. I would definitely recommend Sarah to anyone who needs bridal hair/make up done!

Sarah and her team cranked out hair and makeup! They were all very kind and fun to spend the morning with. My bridal party and I looked beautiful with our hair and make-up. I wanted a very natural look since I rarely wear make-up and she nailed it. I felt beautiful and like it just was enhancing what was already there. For my hair, I wanted to do a half up look with curls, but my hair does not hold a curl. She did the best she could with my hair but I honestly kind of loved how it looked as it flattened out because it felt more natural and honest to myself. She was upfront about this concern too so I knew ahead of time what to expect and I am happy with the result.

I’ve been to Sarah twice now, and I cannot reccomend her enough! Not only is she incredibly talented, but she’s also a joy to be around. Her coloring grows out seemlessly, matches my skin tone perfectly, and looks SO natural that I have to do a double take when she finishes. The cut is always fabulous and, whatever she does, makes my day-to-day styling both easy and achievable for my hair type. Also, Sarah has helped me get my hair back to good health and keep it healthy. These are all atributes I appreciate most in a stylist, which has been rare to find (consistently) in my experience – and I’ve had a number of hair stylists as I move a lot. Sarah also takes extra care in making sure she delivers exactly what you want, but also gives her opinon on what she thinks will suit you best. Both times I’ve seen Sarah I get so many compliments on my hair, even from the guys I work with over zoom who usually don’t notice lol. All to say that I HIGHLY reccomend Sarah Ankerman and am SO happy I found her <3
