Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI came here to get my hair braided in the half up, half down style. When I arrived, they started my service. The lady that was sewing my extensions never told me that I hadn’t purchased enough hair. Instead, she continued to style my hair until I completely ran out. She then tells me “Oh, you don’t have enough hair so I can’t finish the style”. By this time, it was late and the beauty supply was closed. How unprofessional? This is a braid shop isn’t it? Honestly, I started not to even pay full price for a half done job, but I called myself being a good hearted person and having faith that they would complete my style the next day and have the decency to still do a neat job on my hair. Well, I was wrong! Upon completion, my hair was and is a HOT MESS! There’s visible thread sticking out throughout my hair, my braids underneath the sewed in extensions is thick and clumpy, my extensions are not sewn in all the way (there are tracks hanging), my cornrows in the front are already lifting and are very loose as if a 3rd grader did them! I paid $150.00 for a horrible outcome;( It wasn’t even the style I asked for, not even close. I immediately informed the hair stylist that I didn’t like my hair and she agreed to fix it. She told me to come Sunday morning and she would take the time to fix it. Well, she never showed up on Sunday at all. I called, texted and called. I received no response so I left. About an hour after leaving, the other stylist called me from her personal phone and told me she had been leaving church. She then asked me if I could come today and what time because they didn’t want to be doing someone else’s hair when I come. I asked her to let me know what timing is available. She told me she’d ask and call me back. Guess what? She never did! I reached out today and noone is responding. At this point, that let’s me know I’m being given the run around. They took my money, messed my hair up and they don’t care. Its simple, fix my hair or give me my money back! I’ll be filing a formal complaint and filing suit in civil court for this and I will not be returning or referring. They played with 2 things I absolutely do not take lightly: my hair and my money.
