Unfortunately, my male partner and I were cancelled on several times after trying to book a second and third session at AMG. Confused, I finally connected with the owner. She informed me that the therapist who saw me was “uncomfortable” working on me again. An additional detail she presented when I demanded more information was that my body “shook too much” during a deep tissue pressure point massage. I was professional, tipped generously, and approached the session with specificity and kindness. In moments where pressure was too extreme and my body responded, I communicated effectively to ensure the muscle recovered more naturally. I was not nude, entirely covered by the blankets provided, and unaroused.

Received a wonderful Christmas gift from my husband for a massage. To my disappointment the expiration on Angola Massage is only 10 months. Pay attention to those dates. One of the very few times I’ve actually ran into an issue with not honoring a gift card bc of the date. Waste of money and took a few weeks to actually get a call back. Not great service!

If you’re in the area and are looking to get a massage or any type of spa treatment, I personally suggest you stop in! The people that work there love their Community and truly care about anyone who steps through the door! They also support Veterans and those who serve us every day!

Update to my original post about this place. I originally gave them one star because it was almost impossible for them to get us in let alone a return call. But today they were able to get us in and I didn’t give five stars because I would have to see some changes to their hours of service but I thank her for finally getting us in. So I’m satisfied with the outcome of this situation.
