Angela was the best! I went in for a health trim and a wolf cut. She listened to exactly what I wanted and executed it perfectly while making sure she didn’t thin out the bottom of my hair since it’s already quite fine. She was so sweet and very personable. After seeing such great reviews I figured it was time I book an appointment. I booked an appointment online with David (the owner) and i am sooo glad I did. I went in for a partial highlight and a hair cut and I got beyond what I asked for in the best way possible. My hair needed a major upgrade and David helped me every step of the way. He helped me find new ways to work with my boring, fine hair. He showed me some styles I could wear at work when I just want to throw my hair back quickly. He gave me everything I asked for and explained what he was doing every step of the way. Not to mention, the salon is decorated adorably with the cutest relaxation room for when you’re waiting on color. I came in undecided but wanted a natural look my husband paired me with Laurie for my hair color. My experience with Laurie was one of the best hair experiences I’ve ever had. I felt heard and cared for she delivered exactly what I was looking for and help me fit exactly what I needed to maintain my new color long term. I went for a root touchup and cut. I enjoyed speaking with Kasey about what my goal was but there was some confusion in the end as to what we were doing at that appointment. I decided to continue with the dark blonde color (close to an 8) I already had even though we had discussed going lighter. I didn’t want to go through the pain/cost of going lighter. Her application on the roots was too “old school” to me. I was surprised that there was no blending. I have a grown out balyage and she applied the color like she was coloring in the lines very close to the scalp. When we got back to the chair I instantly noticed that my roots were a lot lighter than the rest of my hair. I panicked immediately because there was no bleach involved but somehow my hair had lightened. I addressed the issue with Kasey and she added a darker color again to my wet hair. In my opinion what she added was not dark enough (6 & 7) but it was in the right direction. Then she added an ash after that was done processing. Three processes left me with hot roots and a dry, tender scalp. I was not a huge fan of the way she cut my hair so if I use Kasey again then I’ll address that. My hair doesn’t look terrible so I may try this salon again. The good thing is that hair grows and can always be changed. I see my hot roots but others don’t so it was not a total loss. She was very nice and did give me a discount and I was very appreciative of that.

All my life, everywhere I went to get a haircut was horrible until a friend told me about Angelora. And I’ve been hooked ever since. I won’t go to anyone else. David and Angela are so sweet and so personal. The entire staff is so welcoming and friendly from the minute you walk in the door. They want to make sure you’re comfortable and want you to feel pampered.

Tucked in an out of side business building, one may not quickly notice this beautiful salon. Those around Savannah, have known if for years. It’s one of “THE” places to go if you want a quality haircut/coloring. Personally, as a male, I just get a haircut and the occasional beard trim. This is the only place out of dozens I’ve tried that actually work around my crazy numerous cow licks. If I didn’t like the place, I’d stop coming. Here I am again not only because the price is right, but because I’m treated like family. I’m greeted by every member of the staff and usually even offered a beverage if I come early for an appointment. Everyone here is super friendly and loves a good laugh. Not only do you get a great haircut and treated like family, you’ll feel at home in the ever changing pleasant decor from season to season. I never know what will be different when walking in, and often look forward to the sometimes even custom made decorations on the walls. If you want a quality haircut and good company to boot, I’d suggest you check out Angelora Color Salon!
