During this time, Angelica has made my experience there, feel like home. She is amazingly caring, and has consistently provided, respectful and professional services. Her knowledge and expertise, has far surpassed my expectations; As I’ve tried many salons, and was not satisfied, until Angelica did my hair. Let me add, my hair can be difficult to handle, and has very specific needs, to look good. Angelica listens to what I want, and I always leave looking good. I recommend her as the best hairstylist, I’ve been lucky enough, to have found. I have been going to Angelica’s Hair Studio in Cedarhurst, for 9 years. During this time, Angelica has made my experience there, feel like home. She is amazingly caring, and has consistently provided, respectful and professional services. What a wonderful experience !

Critical: ProfessionalismI called in advance to schedule a hair appointment at Angelica’s Hair Studio and specifically asked if they straighten curly hair. The lady on the phone said “we do ALL types of hair, of course we do curly hair!”Unfortunately, when I got to the hair salon, the lady touched my hair and said “I can’t do this type of hair.” I replied back and said “ you said you can straighten curly hair over the phone.” She proceeded to spread the back of my hair apart with the look of disgust as she replied “yeah but…not THIS type of curly…”Needless to say, I walked out of the salon feeling embarrassed and disappointed at the lack of professionalism this woman had. Today my boyfriend is going to propose and I wanted my hair to be done right. I really depended on them delivering good service but instead it was a waste of my time.
