I asked for them to NOT braid my baby hair and they did. I showed her that mine are actual baby hair and I had just washed my hair so they laid naturally where they exist. Didn’t brush them out or anything. So they start braiding my hair and Immediately starts on my baby hair. I do not know why they think they know your hair better than you. Pictures will show how my baby hair Can not handle being braided (I know how African shops will try and braid everything in and bald you). They made the braids too skinny and the only thing right was the length. Was not worth the $300. I asked for them to redue they refused so I will be suing. Collecting evidence. My hair has fallen out and the braids are slipping, hasn’t been more than two weeks. DO NOT COME HERE. they will scam you out your money. I told them I didn’t Like it and I was vocal about what I wanted. Luckily police said there’s no time limit on the report, I am collecting the case right now for hair loss, them using a lighter on my real hair as well and scissors and again braiding my baby hairs, making my hair look absolutely nothing like the picture. The “box braids” didn’t even have boxes. No real parts.

I loved Angela’s. The shop was very clean and the ladies that work there were very friendly and respectful to my little girl. They asked if she was okay. The atmosphere of the shop was wonderful as a whole. My daughter got the exact hairstyle she wanted and it came out beautifully. The price was fair, exactly what I had expected for as much hair as my daughter has. I will go back and definitely recommend it.

Critical: QualityI was told to come at 6:30. They got to me at 8:00. The two braids were thrown together and the gel they used on my hair didn’t do anything to my hair. I have lumps and white gel that has crusted up. Poor job and the quality is poor. I will have to wash it down in 2 days because my natural hair is already coming through. Never again.Service: Braids

I went here because I have gotten my hair done here before and was pleased with it. I cut my hair and I’m natural now so I just knew I would receive the same professional services i had received in the past, but that was not the case. When I called she told me 170 but when I got there said 180 bc my hair short. So her and her niece or daughter begins my micros I could feel her niece in the back of my head and the parts were to big for short hair. I had my hair for 2 weeks and it looks like it’s been in for 2 months. When I called and told her they were just falling out she said come and they would fix it. She did 2 braids which also fell out the next day but then said she didn’t see anything wrong even after showing her several braids that was hanging by threads of my hair. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANGELAS AFRICAN BRAIDING IF YOU HAVE NATURAL SHORT HAIR THEY WONT TELL YOU THEY CANT DO IT BC THEY WANT YOUR MONEY BUT YOUR HAIR WILL NOT LAST A MONTH YET ALONG 2 WEEKS.
