My usual salon was closed today but I was desperate to get my toes taken care of and I needed some self care. I called around 3:30 to ask if they did walk ins and they said they could get me in at 4:30. They closed at 5 so I was expecting to be rushed out. I got the basic trying to be polite and quick myself. They were a bit late getting me in the chair but again I called last minute and they were doing me a favor. I was not rushed at all and the girl who took care of me was so gentle. I’ve never had a pedicure where I didn’t flinch at least once. She gave the best non rushed leg and foot massage I’ve ever had. She worked each side a good 5 minutes it seemed. She properly did bottom coat, two coats of color, and a top. I say this because every salon I’ve ever been too skips one of these steps. At 5:30 I was so relaxed I about fell asleep. I was not rushed out with my flip flops on like I have at other popular salons in the middle of the day but was told to go under the dryer. I think I’ve found my new nail salon. My only suggestion is to please clean the fish tank lol.

My daughter and I have been getting pedicures in and around Wilmington, I have to say this happened to be the best yet. Possibly the worst set of nails I’ve ever received. Absolutely horrific job at the nail base. They were not blended into the cuticle line which caused them to be extremely thick and after day 3, my hair would get caught under my nails and pull it out. Even with me smoothing the cuticle acrylic line down with a file, they still lifted and I cannot wait to have them removed. I can’t even wash my hair without pulling hair out from underneath my nails. $75.00 WASTED.
