It pains me to write this review because my technician was nice, but her skills are lacking. My nails looked HORRIBLE! I knew I was not going to like them when I saw the shape of my nails. I asked for coffin and she give me…I don’t know what. While she was shaping them I tried to describe how to fix it, and she tried her best but she couldn’t get it right. I let it go at the point. It was too late. Then she applies my gel polish and it’s literally the sloppiest application. The gel was uneven at my cuticle and bumpy overall. I told her to fix it and she gave me a long story about how that’s normal. I been getting my nails done every 3 weeks for over 5 years and I NEVER seen such. I am so mad that I paid and tipped her for such a horrible job. I will NEVER set foot into this salon again!

Lovely place. Very nice technician. BUT, terrible end result. Had a full set and a pedicure on Tuesday and by Saturday one had completely snapped off. Today is Monday and yet another snapped clean off at the quick. i should have known something was amiss when she put the top coat on and I went under the lamp only to have it go cloudy within seconds. Please do not visit this place, I’m in Dulles for business and decided to come up Tyson’s to get my nails done. I called ahead to make sure they were open, google stated they were open until 9pm. The woman told me at 6:57 it was ok to come, I was 5 mins away at the galleria. I get there to find it is in the mall, no problem however it was a bit difficult to find. The woman called me back approximately 7:07 to ask me where why I?! I explained I couldn’t find the shop and she proceeded to try to explain to me where it was. 7:14 I finally found and walked in the shop, the woman said you hurry we close soon. I told her if that was the case I could come back another time I thought they closed at 9 again which over the phone she told me to come. The lady was very rude, I mean completely nasty. She rushed in my nails I mean terrible, she scratched me with the drill twice to the point I had to say something to her because I could tell she didn’t want to do it. I would’ve prefer her to just say we can’t service you the time was wrong on google. My nails aren’t even the same length nor do they look like they were just done. However to receive the horrible service that I did was absolutely appalling to say they least, she should be embarrassed to have treated someone so rudely. I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN, and neither should you if you know what’s good for you. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!

I have been going to Mai for over 8 years for gel manicures, regular pedicures and full leg and Brazilian waxing. She is very personable and she does a great job. I find the price very competitive and affordable for the services provided. I would highly recommend Mai to anyone. Henry has also done my nails once when Mai wasn’t available and he did a fantastic job and is also personable.

This place is awful. Extremely disgusting, I felt like if I looked in a corner I would see a cockroach. I just wanted my SNS to be taken off, now I have dents in my nails from the drill and all of my SNS is not even off. My nails were filed unevenly. After leaving, my nails looked like a 5 year old did them, or even worse. Then, I was charged $70!!!!! TERRIBLE! I am so disturbed. Never go here unless you want your natural nails ruined.

My daughter and I have used this spa for most of a year. Up until the last two visits we were pleased with the service. Then Henry hired a new girl. I had the misfortune to get this girl as Julie was not working that day. I regret that I didn’t get the name of the girl that worked on my feet. I have a bad toe nail on my right foot. I tried to explain that the toe was very sensitive. She would not listen. She proceeded to cut the nail way beyond the quick, leaving me in excruciating pain. I yelled she paid no attention. She didn’t remove the cuticles or the calluses. My feet were worse than when I went in.

The guy who did my nail was very rude! I kept showing him a picture of what I wanted and he keeps saying that it different and not realistic. And when he tempted to do it , I had some comments about it and he was kinda passive aggressive! Also he keeps telling me that I don’t know what I’m doing or asking for, which as a client who’s gonna pay for this is annoying! And at the end when I knew he wasn’t able to do what a wanted he was like “you should just do one color, it’s cheaper anyway!” THIS SHOULDN’T BE SAID TO ANY CLIENT.
