Critical: QualityI asked for yellow french tips with gel (not acrylic tips, just my nails) and they did a somewhat decent job, it wasn’t near perfect but leaving the salon I was satisfied enough. What really upset me was that a little over a week after, the gel on the tips peeled off and broke the nails off with them at the same spot on each nail. This could have been unrelated to their work but I’ve gotten gel manicures at many many different salons and I’ve never once had my nails break with gel on them, and it is very suspicious to me that the majority of my nails broke off in the exact same area around the same time. Just to be safe I’ll be finding a different nail salon in Allendale. I asked for yellow french tips with gel (not acrylic tips, just my nails) and they did a somewhat decent job, it wasn’t near perfect but leaving the salon I was satisfied enough. What really upset me was that a little over a week after, the gel on the tips peeled off and broke the nails off with them at the same spot on each nail. Mike the owner painted them and when he applied the second coat it wasn’t close to the edge of the nail so you could see the lines between coats. I also had wrinkles in the polish after drying them in their dryer. They chipped within a day as he didn’t line the tip of the nail like most salons do. I thought I should give the business another try. I went for a pedicure with a friend yesterday and her technician called her feet stubby, asked about her small nose and asked if she was pregnant. She isn’t pregnant. My pedicure was finished and my nails had wrinkles in the polish…so either she painted to quick between coats or their fan is too powerful when drying.
