Super disappointed how these turned out. Coming to Andy’s used to be a special trip cause they have more colors than my usual salon and usually do an amazing job. But I drove the hour there today to get long thin coffin shaped nails. I left with long thick square shaped nails. I feel like a clown. I had to keep telling her to apply more acrylic to spots she’d missed and asked her to shape them down more. I’m mad at myself for going and wasting the money. Maybe she was just having an off day today but I’m very disappointed and will not be coming back. 🙁 this first pic (green) is how she did them. Second pic (pink) is how I usually get them

I had gone to different salon and my nails were terrible after a week. So I called Andy’s nails and they did an amazing job! I don’t think I have ever loved my nails so much! The owner was so sweet! The lady that did my nails did everything just perfectly! I already have my next appointment! Acrylic nails

This is the second time I’ve been there to have my nails done. They did a bad job the first time so I decided to give them another shot and it was just as bad this time. I paid for my friend and I to get our feet done and our nails done and was charged 220 bucks . I will never go there for my again. DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS YOU LIKE VERY THICK FAKE LOOKING NAILS.

You know you’re at the wrong place when you ask for a design and every single one that I showed them they had an excuse why they couldn’t do it and then they pull out the sticker book!! What?! I’m not sure how they got best place to get your nails done twice but that person must not work there anymore! And it looks like they haven’t cleaned the place in 10 years either! My nails always look great, the staff is kind, and thankfully they can always fit me in (I do call ahead of time). I live in Ames and come all the way to the Southside of DSM for the service they provide…so that should tell you something lol!

I went in 3 days after because middle nail had split and 8 out of 10 nails were chipped and done poorly they fix the middle like this and fix the thumbs now thumb looks like this oh honey we don’t charge you nothing to fix this time I won’t go back and i will take my people with me that I referred. Andy’s nails is all about money not the quality of their work.

I really loved getting my nails done a lot at Andy’s before Andy & his wife left. I decided to continue getting my nails done here because Andy put a word for them that they do a really good job. Ever since they left I have been here 5 times to get my nails done, and each time I pick a color or I want a certain design the bold headed man will just discourage me. I don’t know why he does that. He’ll say things like “ Why are you getting that color? It’s ugly. Why do you want to get that design with glitter on it’s ugly I don’t like it”. I didn’t make a big deal out of it because I thought it was a one time thing, but he does this all the time I’m there. So sometimes back… two weeks ago was my graduation I had my friends in town and they wanted to go get their nails done and I referred them to Andy’s shop. Lo’ & behold! The same thing happened to them and they came home and told me about it. I was so disappointed. With all due respect, please talk to him about this it isn’t good. We are all made different we certainly not going to like what other people like or think it’s cute. Respect that & do what you’re paid for. Overall with others nail technicians I had an awesome experience.
