Debbie gave me a wonderful Divacut. I have curly hair and I’ve always dreaded going to the salon because I feel like my hair never looks quite right. This haircut was the best I’ve ever gotten, hands down. The Northbrook salon is gorgeous and such a fun experience. I highly recommend if you have curly hair you give Debbie a call because she really helped me out. She gave me a ton of education as she went so that I can have more healthy habits and she helped me pick out products at my request. She wasn’t pushy about buying anything. She just genuinely wanted to help me maximize how my curls look, which is the point of getting a divacut in the first place. I will be calling Debbie for all my hair needs from this point forward!

Carla, Carla, Carla! 🙂 So imagine that you are someone who is pretty particular about their hair — and if you’re not, then you should be — and you have had the perfect stylist for years now, and that of course, is Carla. But then you move away… OMG What to do? Well, I’ll tell you… First, if you’re like me, you’ll actually get in your car and drive 750 miles to see her every 5-6 weeks. That’s right — 750 miles. And if you won’t make it in time, then I guess you fly, which cuts the miles down a smidge and sure saves time! And when your flight is cancelled, and you have to change planes in Newark — yes, that’s right — Newark, New Jersey… well, a gal’s gotta do what a gal’s gotta do, right? Yep, that’s right. Roll with it, and take the connecting flight, because a trip to Andrea Hogue Salon, whether Northbrook, or Vernon Hills, with Carla, is worth every last moment and $ to get there. Why? Because it’s absolutely perfect every time, whether it’s a cut, color, style, trim, or special event up do. Let’s face it — when you’re looking for a stylist and salon where upbeat perfection is the name of the game, set your car’s (or plane’s 🙂 GPS to find Carla and Andreas Hogue Salon. I went here for hair coloring with Valerie, I specifically asked for someone with experience. I do not believe she has much experience with coloring a brunette’s hair. I left with brassy hair and had to get my hair toned at a different salon to fix it. I also don’t like that multiple people are apart of the hair coloring process. There was another women who toned my hair.. maybe she didn’t know how long to leave the toner on? This place is over priced for the quality of service, I spent over 300 dollars. I also thought it was odd she didn’t say a word to me for the first half of my hair coloring process, usually people talk to their clients.
