Andrea’s Barbershop a great family friendly barbershop in the San Fernando Valley. I bring my son here to get his hair cut by Anthony H. He’s very calm and patient with my son. We always leave satisfied and looking fresh. If you want a quick and quality cut for you or a family member, this is the place to go. I’d also suggest making an appointment ahead of time to ensure you get your spot with the baber you want.

One star for not respecting people’s time and not having a proper appointment system. Have something in place where you know you’re expecting someone for an appointment. If someone calls for an appointment, tell them with who they are getting a cut with. If someone makes an appointment and you don’t give them a designated barber, then at least have a board somewhere stating what appointments have been made so that we are not waiting 40 minutes after we made an appointment for a haircut. At least make a courtesy notice to ask who has made an appointment instead of just going by who the barber saw arrive first. All of this is based on my experience with them after making an appointment over the phone and not being taken until 45 minutes after my appointment time.

Been going here for over thirty years. They’ve changed ownership a time or two, but still tied to original owners. Senior discount cut for $17. Used to walk in and sit right down pretty quickly if not immediately, but it’s appointment only right now. If you have a favorite barber, be sure to name him/her when you make the appointment as they will randomize if you don’t.

I have been getting my haircuts at this place for 2 – 3 decades. That signifies that I am very pleased with the results I get. They are one of the few barber shops left in the North Valley of LA and they are very good. I strongly recommend them.

I went in there today and waited patiently for my turn. No obvious way to determine order of clients but the barber’s took 2 other customers who came after I did. They obviously knew the clients but not good busines . I’ll never go there again.

With more than 30 minutes to closing 3 barbers and a couple of people in front they turned us away. This was my husband’s spot but after turning our son away he’ll definitely not be going back. Next time stay home if your not willing to work or put a close sign.
