I’ve been going here since I was a teenager, and I’m in my 30s now. One of the owners, Andre, was my guy who cut my hair. Since he retired I see Martin, who is the ONLY person who has ever washed my hair in a salon and had me not hate it (sensory issues). I have never once had a bad experience with this salon in the 17 years I’ve been going. The staff is so friendly and they are all completely respectful of my sensory issues causing me to hate leave-in hair products and blow drying (so I just get my haircut and leave with it wet, been this way since I was 14), they have never once tried to upsell me on literally anything. For as much as this is a nice salon with a classy vibe, they are super accommodating of me being a low maintenance person who wants a low-key experience.

Martin was great! Very friendly, personable, knowledgeable and positive. I really haven’t been to a Salon in a while. I was cutting my own hair (did a pretty good job) but he did Exactly what I asked for (razor cut) and it didn’t take long at all. Very happy with my cut and definitely Will be going back. Always a pleasure!

I had my hair done: balayage, cut, deep conditioning—the whole works, and my experience was amazing. The final product turned out gorgeous. I look forward to coming back for a touch up. I highly recommend this place to all my friends and family. All the stylists and people in the salon were warm and welcoming. The area was clean and well maintained. I had a terrible experience this past Saturday. My first visit. Appointment at 12pm and I arrived 5 min earlier. But until 12:35pm still no one came for me. I asked the receptionist, and someone who I saw cleaning up the floors came to me said he will wash my hair to get me ready. He has a really heave hand and sharp nails, my scalp hurt until the next day, and he just can not adjust the water temp (it is boiling hot). After my hair finally washed, he let me sit there with wet hair and said someone will be w me shortly. I sat for around 15 min, now water running all over me. I finally went up to the receptionist again, and asked when is my turn. The same young man came back to me and said he will cut my hair. I was horrified and protested that I had an appointment with another person (a lady); and he confronted me with what is wrong with me doing it? and do you want to leave (I actually can not with all my wet hair). Eventually he backed down and another lady came up, cut my hair. It was about 2pm when I finally stepped out. I will never ever go back again. This is the worst I ever had at a hair salon. Not sure whether they just treat their new customer like this or what. Terrible. Just saw another yelp review on this place that they got closed down for sometime by health department. Now I really worried about those sharp nails …

After a terrible experience with an attempt at rose gold (professionally done) I was left with a blotchy brown and blonde mess. When my roots started to grow in, it was even worse. I walked into their salon, on the recommendation of a friend, after being told by three other salons I would have to wait longer to do anything. From the moment I walked in, to the time I left, I felt a million times better. The staff from the beginning was kind, welcoming, and completely understanding. After spending 8 hours bringing my hair to one color, cutting it, and putting in my beloved pink color, I walked out a brand new person! I cannot thank Nadine and Philip enough! Nadine really went above and beyond, spending all day literally transforming my hair from yellow cheetah, to fierce rose gold. Philip was so sweet, making sure from start to finish that I was happy with everything being done. I definitely will be returning to Nadine from now on, and recommend this salon to everyone!

I’ve been to way too many Salons trying to find the right one. I used to get my hair done in NYC and I have to say the best cut and color I ever had was at Andre Phillips. I get my hair cut with Phil and he’s amazing!! My hair hasn’t looked this good in a very long time. I have baby fine curly hair and he’s the only one who knows how to cut it. I absolutly love my hair now. I also get color from Theresa and she’s also amazing. The price of a cut and color is the same price I used to pay for a cut in NYC. The prices are great, the service is great and the people at the Salon are wonderful. Phil and Theresa are incredably nice. I wouldn’t go any where else!!! Love them!!!
