I am new to Ponca City and trying to find quality Salon and Spa businesses here is like looking for a needle in a haystack. I walked into the Anderson & Co. Salon and Spa today hoping this could be a place where I could get a facial and possibly other services in the future. As I walked in, I couldn’t tell exactly where the receptionist desk was. As I finally figured out where the receptionist was, I walked up and asked if they gave facials. I was told “yes we do”. I asked for a menu of services but they were all out, so the receptionist had to print one out for me. As I was waiting, I looked around. I immediately noticed a foul odor in the place. It smelled like a place where dogs and cats lived. The place was filthy. Not sure when the last time it was dusted or cleaned for that matter. Dying plants sit next to the receptionist desk. And the receptionist desk is a chaotic scene all in itself. There was so much clutter and chaos everywhere, I’ve pretty much made up my mind that I will not be going there for any services. It’s a shame that with the lack of salons in this area the owner would not see to it that their business was at it’s best for people like me who are new to the area. Definitely not the kind of first impression I would want to make if I owned a Salon and Spa business. They just lost a potentially new customer.
