My name is Travis and I’m the owner / barber of Anchor To My Sole Barber Shop in downtown Summersville, WV. When I started this idea of opening my own barber shop with a vision to provide a new age cut with a touch of a traditional experience. Where I would offer many options if you want to take the afternoon to “pamper yourself” or the quick lunch break haircut the choice is yours. After searching for something better, it finally occurred to me that I was going to have to build this dream “barber shop” from the ground up. An updated version of the corner barbershop that appeals to what today’s men and boys want in a haircut experience. I hope to serve the greater Summersville area for years to come.

Had appointments for both of my boys today(7&4years old). He was so great with both boys and took extra time to make sure their hair cuts came out as perfect as possible. Super patient with my 4 year old. Also very friendly. We will definitely be back! He gave my son a little surprise for sitting still and finishing his haircut. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

When I say this guy is good with kids, he’s amazing. Interacted with my son receiving the haircut made him laugh and also interacted with me and my other two children. Held a conversation the whole time. I liked it there so much, I made my husband an appointment the same week for the anchor cut. It’s a good pampering for your man. I booked an appointment online as needed a cut and shave for a business trip. Was greeted as I walked in the door and had a short 3 minute wait. Once in the chair I gave Travis a brief description of what I was looking for. He understood completely. Received a fantastic haircut, the straight razor shave and beard and mustache trim was on point. Will be back anytime I need a cut or shave. Wonderful barber and good conversation.
