So happy I found this place! I have some raised (hypertrophic) scars from a surgical procedure that needed treatment. I feel lucky to have found this little gem of a mini med spa! It’s well located in Pasadena, beautiful and clean. Dr. Sam greeted me and made me feel right at home. The procedure was comfortable, fast, and very reasonably priced. I am happy to say that it’s been less than a week, and my scars are already flattening out.

Dr. Sam is AMAZING!!! I came to her a couple months ago because I was suffering from having dark circles and bags under my eyes. It was depleting my self-esteem and confidence. I was always wearing sunglasses in public to hide my eyes. Dr. Sam was referred to me by another client of hers. I see her for laser treatment every few weeks and I also use her products. Let’s just say that how I looked during my first visit, verses how I look now are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT in the most positive way! My skin is almost restored back to normal. I have her to thank for that. I HIGHLY recommend her services.

While I have not seen Dr. Sam in person, I did purchase her sunscreen after seeing it featured on MixedMakeup (YT). Once my order arrived it had exploded in the packaging and was chipping from the inside. I had emailed Dr. Sam to which she immediately responded, apologized, and shipped me a second bottle free of charge. I am grateful and impressed by her team and customer service! This is a review for their sunscreen. They never sent out a shipment notification. Something in the sunscreen burns my eyes. It has no white cast, but I’ve never used a mineral formula that stings my eyes so badly. I bought four bottles and they didn’t give me a refund!

I have been seeing Dr. Sam for over a year now and she has helped me turn my skin around. I have been dealing with lots of hyperpigmentation/acne scarring and I wanted to try microneedling as a new option to treat my problems. This review is overdue! Last month, I drove down from the Bay Area to specifically see Dr. Lucero,as I have heard she’s extremely knowledgeable and I only wanted the best. That said, from the moment she greeted me to discussing my concerns, she took expert care of me and gave me feedback about what I wanted to achieve and what was best for me. She sets herself apart from all the other places I have been to, by cleansing the face for preparation vs just cleaning with a alcohol pad; this also is a great relaxing technique! Moreover, you are handed a little pouch with post instructions and a small topical soothing gel. What a great touch and much appreciated.
