Critical: QualityI went to get my hair cut and colored a couple weeks ago by Lauren or something like that and the cut was fine but I asked for a blonde balayage (showed them pictures for examples) and the lady said she could do it. (I have thick dark wavy/curly hair) She asked if I wanted more caramel or blonde tones I said more BLONDE, but I left with no blonde in my hair. I left with orange colored ends and she said I “have little blonde pieces in there” but the ends of my hair are more orange/light brown than anything. Looked pretty much the same as when I had got there, definitely wasn’t worth $93 but if you just need a haircut she did that part fine.P.S she did mention not going any lighter so I didn’t ruin my hair (and just waiting 6 weeks to go “more blonde”) but I’ve went to school academy’s to get blonde balayage and blonde highlights done by STUDENTS before and they did it in one session and my hair did not end up “crunchy” or whatever. Maybe she was scared to test it but they shouldn’t have said they could do it in the first place if they weren’t educated enough on dying hair blonde. My fault for choosing this place though! I went to get my hair cut and colored a couple weeks ago by Lauren or something like that and the cut was fine but I asked for a blonde balayage (showed them pictures for examples) and the lady said she could do it. I went in for a cut and color for my birthday and walked out not satisfied at all. My highlight are way to blond for my hair color and they darked my hair more then I wanted. I have box highlights that make it look like zebra strips in my hair and this is what I have to deal with until I can get in somewhere else and get this fixed. The owner was the one doing my hair and when she was finished I didn’t want to be rude so I just said it looked nice. I didn’t want color all the way up to my roots and I told her that but thats how she did my hair anyways. Now im dissatisfied and have to live with this for awhile. This isn’t anything like I asked for and the blonde is fried and crispy to the touch. I guess that’s what happens when you leave bleach in for an hour without checking it. I’m glad my hair didn’t fall out but I will never return to this place again. I’ll be going back to my normal salon from now on.

I get my hair cut by Elvita at Amy’s Shear Perfection she is Awesome. My husband and I actually followed her there when she moved from another place wouldn’t have it any other way. She brings a smile to your face everytime you walk through the door. Elvita started out out a stranger doing hair and now we consider her a friend. You are not only great at your profession you are a wonderful person.

The girls are all very friendly and knowledgeable. I almost always schedule our appointments with either Lauren or Amy, both of which are amazing with my six year old son. I have been coming here for years, and I will not take my family anyplace else. Anytime anyone is looking for suggestions for a stylist I recommend Amy’s Shear Perfection.

I liked my hair dresser, won’t mansion her name because I received a perm from her. I like the perm, it turned out how I wanted. She was not careful taking out the curlers. She got to the ends of my hair and just ripped them out and hurt my head several times. I don’t feel that was very purfestional. I’ll go back but I don’t want her to do the 2nd perm. Unless have no one else to do it. I suppose I should of said something at the time. Thats my story and I’m sticking to it. Lol.

Very good. Came in with dark red/black hair and wanted it to go back to my natural blonde hair. They did just that and added in highlights to make it blend more. Also it’s very cheap and the lady curled my hair for free after. Really recommend. (I was there for about 4/5 hours and they made me feel very comfortable)
