I want to start this off with the fact that Amy, the owner, was very kind. That being said, I was a bit put off by the whole experience. Amy was having her roots done when I arrived and I had to wait 15 minutes into my apt for her hair to be rinsed. The massage itself was interesting–a lot of different techniques are used to create one massage. If you want an aromatherapy, hot stone, and exfoliation massage combo, then you may be into it. Personally, that isn’t really my style. I should have glanced at the Google reviews prior to my “groupon steal.”

I definitely don’t recommend this place. It is outdated and run down. The salon is not clean, as you’d expect and should want in a salon. The massage therapists talk way too much during the massage, definitely not relaxing, which you want in a massage session. You don’t go for a massage looking for a chat session. Also, the lights were bright, which added to the discomfort of the whole thing. Not even worth it with a Groupon discount – go elsewhere!

I got a groupon for a body wave perm and was seriously disappointed with the service. Christina did my hair but I don’t blame her for the bad service. Another client called to get her hair redone because she didn’t like the color. Christina flat out said she was busy but Amy still let her come through and pulled Christina away from my service. Because of this, half of my head was sitting in chemicals longer than the other resulting in an uneven, messy job.
