Three words: excellent, fast service! Amy came through for me in a pinch and fit me in last minute. Within 3 hours I was on my way with a cute feed-in style. It’s a few weeks later and I’m back for another round, this time for medium box braids. I’m one hour into the service and a third of my hair is already done! I won’t be going anywhere else. Lastly, her shop has ample parking and everything is clean and organized. Aces all around!

I got my hair braided here and I am so happy that I did. The sizing is consistent, the parts are small and even, and the braids are neat. My braider was still braiding another client’s hair when I arrived, and when I saw that client’s hair upon completion, I knew that my hair was going to look amazing. Terrible customer service. I called to schedule an appointment for box braids on short hair. Sent a photo of my hair. The owner Amy told me the price plus an additional $30 because I had short hair. We agreed and set an appointment for the next day at 9am. She called me later to push to 2pm as someone had called in sick, I agreed.

Amy’s African braid shop is clean and inviting. I felt at “home” from the moment I walked through the door. She’s very welcoming, down to earth, and easy to work with. This is my second time here at Amy’s African Salon, first time I got lost and it was way passed my time. Amy and her staff directed me to there shop and still got my haid did in Crochet Butterfly Locs. Amy and her staff are very professional and courteous. Enjoyed my time @ Amy’s African Braids Salon. The shop was very CLEAN, QUAINT, & INVITING! Both Amy & Kay were very personable & professional…the longer I was in the chair, the more comfortable I became because the conversation was flowing!! Amy did a Halo braid for me and I received so many compliments. I was in love as soon as I saw the mirror. The atmosphere is relaxing, very calm, and welcoming! I had fun with her, the other customer, and other worker (Kay…I think her name was). I am already looking to book my next appointment. So glad I found a hair salon who sees you RIGHT AWAY!
