Let me start by saying the way my nails ended up was fine. My experience however was traumatizing to say the least. I have been going to Amy nails for two years now and have never had a problem. Today I got my nails done by Vivian for graduation. Last time I got my nails done by her they were thin and broke quickly so this time I simply asked her to make them thicker and she said no. She tried them her way and asked what I thought so I replied that I want them thicker but it’s fine. (Because at this point I had been waiting an 1:30 to get my nails done) she stood up and embarrassed me by yelling that she would not be continuing my nails and that someone else would have to get them done. I repeated myself and said it was fine, I’ll take them her way and she refused to finish my nails. She passed me to the owner who kept pestering me asking what I did/ said to her while I was clearly balling my eyes out. I told her what happened and she replied by saying there must’ve been more that I said to make her react like that. Then I had to wait another 30 min for someone else to get there to finish my nails. They ended up looking good but I will not be returning.

I absolutely love Amy’s nails I go once a month to get brand new feet. They bathe them, cut them, file them, push cuticles back, dig in the corners of ingrown nails, scrub them with a brush, remove callus skin or dead skin from feet, use some type of ointment or medicine on your nails when necessary, and give you a calf and foot massage, all while sitting in a masseuse chair. All this for $30 definitely worth giving them a $10 tip. Highly rated.

I absolutely loved this salon. I have been to a few in the Lynchburg area, and this one is by far the best one I have been to. I went in with a picture that I had found on Pinterest and the girl that did my nails did an amazing job. She took a lot of pride in her work and did it paid off. I got them done on Thursday and I have gotten a TON of compliments. I am sending everyone I know to this wonderful business.

(check out her work on Instagram @Painttotheedge) she did an amazing job- I’m so happy I have her a try. My nails looked so beautiful and new looking for 3+ weeks until I got a new fill. I definitely recommend her!!

Great service. I had the pleasure of getting my nails done here for the first time and done by Amy. She was amazing. Very helpful. I done an acrylic overlay on my own nails and it turned out beautifully. She took her time and made sure everything was perfect. She also made sure that I was happy every step of the way. I would highly recommend Amy Nails.

I went to Amy nails with a friend and the owner, Amy, was extremely rude and aggressive towards us. It took 2.5 hours for us to get a simple manicure and pedicure. She yelled at my friend and shoved her hands back in acetone as she was soaking her nails. She would get up and leave for 15 minutes at a time. I don’t normally leave reviews, but this experience was too terrible to not share. If you’re considering Amy nails, please find another nail salon in Lynchburg. The owner is rude and the service is terrible. And our nails look hideous.

One of the worst nail places. Wish I could give them zero stars. The workers are very rude. For being the owner, Amy is not very kind to her customers either. Made an appointment and still waited over 40 minutes before I left.
