Clean and friendly service! I usually come as a walk in but on the weekends call for appointment ahead ! This place its family owned complementary coffee while u wait for ur haircut ! Prices are reasonable definitely more affordable than the other shops in town! Ive been a customer Ames shop for couple of years ! I definitely recommend it!

Worst haircut. I told her to cut my hair short both sides and medium on the back and to keep it long on the top of my head. While cutting my right side, I reminded her that I do not want short on the top of my head as well as on the back. She then grabbed the trimming machine and cut my hair very short on the sides as well as back of my head. When I objected to what she did despite my clear suggestion two times, she got angry and told me that I asked for the machine which I did not. I theb requested for the third time, to keep the top long and cut a little bit. She did not pay attention and cut my top hair equally short and terrible. It was not even as well. When done, she threw a big chunk of hair on my dress. I would not recommend their services. It ruined my whole plan for my sister’s wedding.

This is the best barber shop I’ve been to in a long time. It’s a mother / daughter business that has been part of the Rutherford community for years. They are both polite and accommodating to any style that you want. And they give THE BEST hair cut in the area. I can’t recommend this shop enough.

I rarely leave reviews for anything but Adrianna is an awesome old school barber. I googled “rutherford barber shop” and this place was top of the list and right down the street from me. I walked in and got the best haircut I’ve had in years. Hot lather, straight razor, the works and for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

I don’t understand what these 5 star reviews are about. Horrendous attitude, the fake blond hairdresser cutting my hair didn’t even reply “hello”, she kept texting on her phone throughout the haircut. When I got home I realized the haircut is uneven and there are a few deep dents on the right side. I asked for such a simple cut, just to trim the sides and the back. I ve paid $22 and $4 tip. I wouldn’t have paid $10 for this “haircut”. Definitely never going back.
