Always have great experiences here until recently. David did my nails and did FANTASTIC. However, I brought my little sister in to get hers done and the woman who did them absolutely ruined her experience. Her cuticles were cut up and bleeding. Multiple nails were crooked, bubbly, and scratched. The lady doing her nails was quiet and rude when she did speak, never once asking her how her nails looked or anything. David did try to fix the woman’s work but at that point the damage had already been done.

My mom took my daughter this morning for their first even grandma granddaughter day. They were helped right away and the gentleman at the shop was super kind and helpful. My daughter felt comfortable and came home smiling ear to ear based on her awesome sparkly purple nails. Thank you!!! Manicure

The American Nail Spa is the place to get your nails done in the Rutherfordton/ lake Lure/Forest City area. The place is clean, the service is great. They owner is very nice, friendly and engaging. She is very aware of all that is going on her salon and makes sure that all of her clients are well cared for.

Came in for a fill in. Nice, large salon, looked clean, but small waiting area. I called the day before and was told I could just come in, no appointment was needed. I got there early, and was the 2nd customer to sign in. 10-15 people came in after me. I sat in the waiting room for about 45 minutes, while everyone who came in after me was called. When I was the last one in the waiting area, they asked my name and finally sent me back.

Best experience I have had in a nail salon so far!! I made an appointment and they had me in a chair within 5 mins! I had such a wonderful experience definitely will go back!! They are very clean and efficient!!I can not say enough about how incredibly relaxing my experience was!! Acrylic nails

I have been using ANS for 15 years and have a standing appointment every four weeks. David and Christine, the owners, have very high standards for their business and it shows! Christine is fabulous, as every other technician, otherwise they wouldn’t be working there! Very relaxing atmosphere, super comfortable chairs with massage, a massive collection of colors, everyone is friendly and attentive, and I could go on but if you don’t get the picture by now you have to be blind! I tried three other salons when I moved here 15 years ago and ANS has to be the best salon in the county, no other salon does quality work quite like them. I so look forward to my “Spa Pedicure” with the scented scrub, hot towels and a spectacular leg/foot massage every month. If you’ve never tried one, you are missing out! Can’t say enough good things about ANS, but if you know this business, you know it’s perfection. Make an appointment as they are busy all the time and you can avoid the walk in wait. And yes, they often speak in Vietnamese to each other but it’s their language and at times comes easier to converse. Only a whiney, paranoid client that complains constantly would assume they are talking about them! If you haven’t experienced the American Nail Salon experience, book an appointment today, you won’t be disappointed. I these people and this place!

This is a wonderful nail salon. The employees are very friendly and always welcoming. They offer a very wide variety of nail treatments and do waxing as well! They do an excellent job on my nails every time! They always offer you a drink (choice of soda, water, white or red wine). Pictured is OPI “Malaga Wine” and Kiara Sky “Pixie Dust” on the accent nail. Love the wide color selection they offer as well!

I’ve enjoyed the pedicures I have gotten here. Love that you can make an appointment. Pleasant, calm, safe environment. Not loud. Great selection of colors. Very efficient. Respectful of masks/social distancing. Nail techs do a very neat job. Only downside – Wish they spent more time on the massage part of the pedicure.
