I have been to this salon twice. The first time, I cannot remember who cut my hair, but it was perfect. However, I have just received the worst haircut of my life after my appointment on Friday. The barber was very nice, but completely disregard what I wanted (tapered sides, and to leave the length on the top so that my curls remained intact). He cut my hair way too short on top, basically shaving all of it off (to the point where my baby hairs stick straight out) and additionally, the hair on one side of my head was about an inch and a half longer than the other. I had to go to another salon to get it evened out.

This establishment specializes in providing you with the worst haircuts you could possibly receive in your life. Went here twice (to two different barbers to give this place a genuine shot) and both times my hair was cut in a way that completely ignored the directions I gave both barbers. I requested a low tapered fade with just about a half-inch off the top, as I like to wear my hair on the longer and curlier side. Both times the barber took way too much hair off the top and performed a subpar fade that was atrocious on the sides. The second time the top of my hair was also cut unevenly which I’m not sure how “professional” barbers managed to pull off. On top of that, during both of my visits the receptionist here was extremely rude and short, and treated me as an annoyance, which is ironic considering the one quality that a receptionist should have is good customer service. I would rather invest the money I spent here in an NFT scam than give this place any more dollars. Stay clear of this “barber” shop at all costs.

My barber had my best interest and communicated throughout the process. American Haircuts is the only barber shop I know of that will give a neck and side trim with a razor the old fashioned way. And he even gave me a shoulder massage.
