We have been coming here for a while. There were a couple of gentlemen we used to go to here to cut my sons hair a few years ago and really liked them, but are no longer here. My husband normally takes my son to get his haircut since they know what he likes. My husband said he pays $20 since he’s 11 years old. When we finished, she charged $25. I told her he was 11 and she said yeah but his hair is longer… I’m not sure how it’s longer if we cut his hair every 2 1/2 weeks ♀️ My husband asked if I got the same lady he usually does to cut his hair and my son confirmed it was the same lady, but for whatever reason she wanted to up-charge $5. So we just decided to stop going here and take him where their prices are stable. Besides, the older lady with the glasses is super rude.

I have never had a bad hair cut here. I tried American deluxe after trying great clips and sports clips, both of which were pretty good in other states, but didn’t measure up to what American deluxe does. I poorly described the cut I wanted and they worked some magic. It doesn’t matter who you go to, they’re all awesome. Clean and friendly environment.

Critical: ProfessionalismI waited in this Barber shop for 10 minutes on a Saturday evening with 3 barbers. 1 lady was cutting hair. 1 lady was eating her lunch stating she hadn’t had lunch all day. The other Lady was sitting behind the front desk playing on her phone. After waiting and only getting a “Hi”, I got up and walked out. I used to go there before the pandemic and tipped generously. 5 stars for a barber shop? Aren’t they all pretty much the same? Well, our family had been following Shirley from shop to shop for the past several years. She even cuts my wife’s hair and/or daughter’s hair when we visit her. So now we drive the 30 minutes to get to her because I really don’t want anybody else to cut our hair! For the same price as one of the major coupon chains/franchises where you have no idea who you are going to end with, here you get a friendly professional who has been at it for more years than most of the other young stylists have been alive! And she genuinely cares about you and it shows from start to finish. Highly recommended!
