Scott does incredible work! I have gotten my hair cut and beard trimmed by him a few times now. I started going when they were located in Newport News and have been to the Norfolk store twice now. The Experience is an amazing service and totally worth it! I always leave there feeling like a new person and so relaxed and happy. Scott pays attention to such detail and really takes the time to make sure you leave feeling totally refreshed!

I just got a haircut from American Barber Lounge for the first time yesterday, and it was a really great experience! He really knows his stuff, and gave me a haircut that’s the best I’ve ever had for the style I usually go for. He took his time and really made sure it looked good on me, and I really enjoyed chatting in his lovely shop while he did his thing. I’m planning on coming back in a month or so for my next cut!

I got a haircut and it was the roughest, most rushed haircut I’ve ever received. staff was fairly rude and short tempered like I was inconvicing them by getting a hair cut. I also left covered in hair like it was too much of a hassle for them to clean me up. Won’t be going back and recommend people going elsewhere. If you leave a review that the owner or workers do not like as i have done be prepered they will text you being not only creepy but very immature, unless you enjoy a total stranger insulting and texting you like a child avoid this place!
