I called and made a appointment on Thursday to get braids on Saturday morning at 8am. I was very disappointed bc when I got there, the business was closed and when I texted her, she did not answer. My time is precious and if she didn’t want to do my hair, I wish she would of just said that when I made my appointment. Lesson learned. Maybe your experience will be better.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The Owner is definitely not welcoming. I called and was told that I could come in for kinky twist and it would be 160.00. A young female did 75% of my hair and I had to wait for the owner to finish doing someone else’s hair so that she could finish mine. I came in before this person but ended up waiting 30 mins to 1 hr for the owner to get done with her hair and finish mine. Once the owner was almost done with my hair she asked me if I could go ahead and pay. I asked again how much would it be just for clarity. I was told that it would now be 180.00 bc of how thick my hair was and bc they had to use additional hair. Needless to say I was livid but paid the lil 20 extra dollars. I said something to her about the price I was quoted over the phone and she began talking loudly in her native tongue to the young lady next to me. I will never return to this shop nor will I recommend it to anyone. I should have paid closer attention to the reviews. The shop is in the back of a store and it was not the cleanest place. One customer asked to use the bathroom and was told that she could but that the light in the bathroom didn’t work. I hate to feel as if someone is trying to get over on me and again I WILL NOT BE RETURNING!

She started doing someone else hair in front of me and picked up hair off the floor which was nasty. She then came back to my hair, never washed her hands or wore a mask. She tangled and twist my hair so bad that it hurt like hell. I’m not sure what type of hair she used because it it h my head so bad that I had to my hair down the next day. I’m pretty sure I rather walk around her with hair sticking all over my head before I go here again. When I had got seated the I told the lady that I wanted Microtwist and she said okay and as soon as my mom left she tried to get me to change my mind and get box braids because she was to lazy to do the style I asked for. After she did the first row in my hair she stopped and pulled another lady that worked there over to me and they started speaking in their language and cackling like crows which is extremely rude and unprofessional, not to mention she was trying to pull my hair out and then complained about how my hair is to hard to twist. After she finished twisting she charged $200 dollars for a lousy job and the twist weren’t even the right size. And the power went out before she could dip my hair so instead of waiting for it to vome back on she left the shop and told me the come back another day. Lucky for me the power came back on and she dipped my hair but she is an extremely nasty and rude women and the shop also has a fishy smell. Her service is horrible. Her feed in braids are terrible I had black gel dried and caked up in my hair. I had this style in my hair for one day and had to take it out. She doesn’t provide good service. Save your money!!! I wish I knew how to upload the picture to show you how horrible my hair is.SHE NEEDS TO CLOSE THIS ESTABLISHMENT DOWN. The parking lot is always empty. From her work and doing hair I can see why.

Way too pricey, her work is ok. I frequent a lot of african braiders. I live in the city & was stuck in Griffin b/c of quarantine. The shop is disgustingly nasty! Bathroom should be condemned. She stop several times to do others hair & service UHaul customers. My braids are extremely tight. I’m pretty sure I won’t have any edges after taking them down.
