My stylist was fun, kind, and personable, and the atmosphere at the salon is very welcoming. I went in for a trim, and emphasized I didn’t want a lot of length removed and added that I prefer blunt cuts to make my hair more full. The stylist did a great job of not removing length, but I almost gasped when, without warning, she started taking LARGE chunks of hair out—rendering it stringly and sparse rather than full. She claimed my hair was “too thick” and said “We have to get rid of that big hair.” Says WHO?! And, it was rainy and humid the day I went in, so of course anyone’s hair is going to be a little poofy. I have baby fine hair and, admittedly, do have a lot of it (or, at least I DID before this cut.) BUT I LIKE IT THAT WAY. I had beautiful thick flowing, wavy hair. Now I have a stringy ugly mess with large gaping “holes” in my hair. She completely ruined my once-beautiful hair. It’s depressing to look at “before” photos and look in the mirror now to the hot mess she created.

If you have curly hair you need to have Sasha take care of it. From the minute I sat down I trusted her with my hair. The hair stylist I had been going to for 10+ years moved out of state so I needed to find someone who understands how to work with my curls. Sasha nailed it! Before she did anything we had a long discussion about my hair, what I like, what I needed, and how she would cut it. The whole experience was very enjoyable. I definitely found my new hair stylist!

She checked in with me throughout the haircut to make sure I liked it and checked with me on the length several times. She styled it beautifully and I love it so much!
