The people here are nice, but the prices are pretty outrageous. I normally wouldn’t complain about this if I was happy with the result, but everyone I know thinks I’ve colored my hair myself. The back of my head is yellow and the front is so blonde it’s almost white (I didn’t want either of these). It’s super embarrassing and I have to just wear my hair up 24/7 to hide it. I’m now just patiently waiting for the day that I can cut out every inch that was touched and just never color my hair again. I’m sure they do really good work 90% of the time, but I just want to warn that you may be in the 10% that basically flushes $300+ down the drain. I’m mostly just sad they let me walk out of there saying it looked great, and then once I get home and have a closer look I get a gut punch.

I am ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE with this place. Specifically Karen!! She not only gave me the best haircut and she is now my go to hairstylist, she also gave hands down the best customer service. From the girl talk, to listening to what i wanted, all the way to the scalp massage! she is an absolute dream, and a doll to trust with your hair. If i could give her 6 stars i would. Nice, clean, modern salon with friendly and helpful staff. My hair was cut, colored, and styled by Talia, a true professional. She listens and hears what the customer wants before one lock of hair is snipped. Answered questions and shared some techniques for blow drying my particular cut. Kudos also to the front desk especially Megan or was it Madison? Melanie? Starts with M………perhaps it’s “marvelous” ☺️

This salon is fantastic! I’m hesitant to give such a good review because I never have a problem getting an appointment with Talia, but when the word gets out how amazing she is, that may change! She always takes her time listening to my ideas, questions, and requests and then she executes a beautiful cut, color and style perfectly every time – and with a gorgeous smile! After my previous hairdresser (for 20 years!) moved away, it took several tries to find a new “one”. Talia is it!

I wanted a stylist who was both committed to her salon and can deliver results over time. My evaluation was methodical and eventually lead me to Amber Michelle’s Salon. Amber’s name is both on the building and she can personally execute. This was exactly what I was looking for, and for the past 18 months the client/stylist relationship has grown deep. Amber, with her veteran team take now care of all my gals needs. Cut, color, hi/low lights, Brazilian Blow Out and Weave in Extensions. Amber’s team is always on-point and Madison keeps the schedule clean and crisp for me. Any fixes, changes, or repairs to her weave are met either same day or next. I was looking for someone who can see the same vision and help execute. I have grown to trust Amber very much over time. This review is based on over 18 months and nearly two dozen individual experiences. It is not based off a single instance but a report card of long-term excellence and high performance. I can confidently say Amber and her team is one of, if not the best choices you can make in Flower Mound and surrounding areas. Just finished getting a cut and color at Amber Michelle and had a fabulous experience! The salon was clean and had great music, the chairs were super comfy, and I cannot say enough good things about my stylist Branda (Caprise was super nice too!)! I’m thrilled with my full highlight and I just love my cut too! Everyone I talked to was very kind as well! So glad I went there today! Will definitely be going back!

WORST experience I’ve ever had at a salon, LONGEST TIME EVER SPENT at a hair color appointment (4 hours), and the MOST EXPENSIVE hair appt I’ve ever had in my life. They ruined my hair. It was the exact opposite color of what I asked for, and my hair was severely damaged after she colored it. Several inches of hair broke off along the bottom and on the underside. It’s irreparable. There was also a large section of hair on the underside that she missed coloring completely. The stylist was a “Master Level”, supposedly one of their best (?)

I asked for a wispy look and provided a picture and got a completely different look with a ton of lashes that look incredibly black with way too much volume and they go PAST my eye! The look is hideous. I’ve never been in tears with any service before like today. They told me to come back and see the same person. I don’t think she’s as experienced as they told me she was. The worst thing is that my wedding is this Saturday and I have to figure something out. I am not going to my wedding looking like this. $300 down the drain.
