This is my first at this salon as I was not satisfied with past experiences with other salons in north Brunswick area .Amy is the manager of the shoppe and works on appointments. This is great as she won’t rush the mani pedi because of walk-ins. I am very picky with what I like and want . Amy is professional , polite , listens to you and does a great job.

First, I’m leaving this review and rating based on my experience. I’m visiting from out of town and I needed to get a pedicure. I did some research and this nail salon has the best ratings in the area. I initially called a few times to make an appointment, but did not get an answer. Since I’m staying across the street, I stopped in to see if I could make an appointment. The woman who was in the salon was giving a pedicure to a client. Before I could even finish asking her if there were any appointments available, the woman looked me up and down, shook her head and said, “No”. I definitely felt like she automatically judged my character and appearance and decided that she didn’t want my business. At the end of the day, we all have the right to serve the clients we want to serve. I’m just saying please don’t judge based on assumptions. If you wanted my business, you would’ve offered another time or day and allowed me to finish my sentence.

Amy always does a great job! When seen by appointment you are always made to feel like you are first. She is very accommodating to all your needs. If you have special requests she will do her best to meet them. In the end your feet feel smooth and nails look great! The ambience at her salon is comfortable and friendly! Amy is also a great host. She has snacks and drinks readily available.

I’m a father to an 8 year old that is going on 21. I took her to get a manicure because she had let her nails grow long and they had looked raggedy and she refused to cut them to lose the progress she made in growing them. Ms Hung Hsu was excellent with my daughter and said she didn’t need a full manicure since she’s still a baby and charged me a very reduced priced and painted them a nice red to go with her Halloween costume. Other places were quoting me double what she quoted me originally over the phone even though I told them she was 8. The attention she showed my daughter was greatly appreciated by giving her advice on how to take care of her nails. I appreciated very much the service I received and I will be returning when she needs to get her nails done again.
