Went in wanting the promotional $80 service. When you tell them you want that you only have 4 options that are all very natural and light looking you don’t have many choices. If you actually want volume you have to pay over $100. My lashes came off pretty quickly and I don’t rub my eyes. I usually go to a home business lash tech and mine last about 3 weeks looking good and typical freelance lash artists won’t charge you $125 for hybrid or volume. They are really nice employees, I just wasn’t satisfied with what I got for the cost. If you either have a good paying job, or only want light, natural looking lashes then this is the place for you.

I’ve been here quite a few times to get my lashes done. The place itself is a nice and clean and environment. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the best experience this time around. I am up to date with the studio on Instagram and came across a post for lash models wanted, including a predetermined and free set. I was more than excited to give this a try and called Wednesday to schedule my appointment then recieved a confirmation call on Saturday morning. Walking in there I was directed to wash my lashes and brought back into the room to pick the type and length of set I wanted. Essie came in throughout the time I was there and jumped in once, but during the two hours I was there I did not appreciate the comments that were being made. It’s a little nerve-wracking to not know what’s going on around you especially when your eyes are closed. Saying, “it looks much better than the last sets you’ve done.” I’m unsure if the tech in training glued some of my bottom lashes or left some lashes out of the tape near my water line. Before Essie jumped in she mentioned checking my chart and saying I move my outer corner a lot and when she jumped in I didn’t feel like she handled fixing my lashes in the nicest way. She seemed short and in a hurry. I felt my eyes were more relaxed and didn’t move as much than the last few times I’ve went and the tech didn’t seem like she had much trouble. But when Essie was fixing it she made it seem like I moved a lot and kept telling me to relax. It’s not relaxing when you’re not knowing what’s going on and hearing that your lashes are glued to each other. I personally feel like most of the things said should’ve been more prepped for beginning and after the appointment and not when you’re in the middle of a client to make them feel uncomfortable. After the tech finished, I had some of my natural lashes sticking to the bottom and asked if there was any way for her or Essie to fix it before I had left. Essie said she didn’t have time to fix it and would’ve had to tape me up again or schedule for a fill in. It seemed like a pretty quick fix though… She also said “I should’ve mentioned at the beginning of the appointment that we aren’t doing any touch ups since you are a model.” After that experience I am pretty upset but to make matters worse. Before I left I waited at the front for a minute like I did the previous times I have came to check out but saw both girls at the front talking to each other so I left. Assuming it was a free set from the instagram post I saw and no further details of the appointment when scheduling, receiving a confirmation call, and not being told anything when I came in and before I left. I was then charged $25.00 an hour later. The studio usually notifies me if I am going to be charged for a service. I called and the girl wasn’t much help just saying ” gotcha, gotcha there’s nothing I can do on my end.” I made sure to tell her that nothing was communicated that I was being charged $25. I was unaware that Sunday and Monday would be $25.00. Mind you the post say Friday-Saturday predetermined and free.
