Amazing Lash Studio

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI have been an Amazing Lash studio member for about 2 years and have used both commack massapequa locations and have never had an issue. However, my experience at your commack location today was deplorable. My regular lash artist, Lindsay (who is amazing) was unavailable so after waiting over a month and the to be able to book an appointment, I took the receptionists recommendation of Nicole. Nicole was clearly new and not ready to be performing services- she scratched my eyelid with the metal tool which was painful, glued the extensions to the protective pad under my eye, and Cleary did not properly tape my lower lashes as at the end of service my eye was glued shut. In her attempt to remove the lashes from the pad she ripped out a chunk of my actual lashes and extensions out which was extremely painful. I asked she get a different lash artist to separate my lower lashes from my upper lashes after that. In addition to the issues mentioned above, the other eye is a disaster- uneven, missing chunks, etc.Instead of getting another artist to fix this for me immediately the studio asked me to return 3 hours later (when I live an hour away). That was not possible as I had another appointment and a wedding to attend, so they booked me for next Tuesday. From my experience with Nicole to the poorly handled resolution by management this was unacceptable. I have been an Amazing Lash studio member for about 2 years and have used both commack massapequa locations and have never had an issue. However, my experience at your commack location today was deplorable. My regular lash artist, Lindsay (who is amazing) was unavailable so after waiting over a month and the to be able to book an appointment, I took the receptionists recommendation of Nicole. Critical: Professionalism, QualityThis place is far from amazing. It’s terrible. First of all, I asked for Volume. And I explained that I wanted a full dramatic look, showed examples as well. The results couldn’t have been worse. Basically I got the complete opposite. I was better off not doing anything. When I complained about it. The manager asked me to go back with a different stylist who would fix it. This time it was even worse. The girl added a few “volume lashes”. It still looked super basic at the end. And to make it worse, they started falling off non stop after I left. I was livid, and I called back. The manager now asked me toGo back for a new full volume set. But this time with a master stylist. I didn’t even know this was an option.It was agreed that this would be free because of the horrible experiences. When I got there another manager by the name of JEN asked me to pay $30 for the lashes. When the previous manger clearly left a note on my file saying “Full Comp”. The girl that ended up doing my lashes was actually great and did exactly what I wanted. She confessed to me it’s not the best lash place and would be quitting shortly. Critical: Cleanliness, ProfessionalismStaff is rude and unprofessional at commack. I usually go to Merrick and the girl gave me an attitude because she had to call them to get the payment. Don’t get mad at me for having to do your job. I have never experienced anything like that at Merrick. Staff is rude and unprofessional at commack. I usually go to Merrick and the girl gave me an attitude because she had to call them to get the payment. Don’t get mad at me for having to do your job.
